Harmless, huh?

Today, my family and I went to a beach where you could swim with dolphins. I was a little scared to swim with them so the trainers had a five minute chat to me about how they were harmless creatures. Once I got in, the dolphin attacked me and bit me. FML

Nice. Dolphins enjoy a good joke like the rest of us.

If a dolphin bit you, then you must have deserved it for something you once did!

I don't believe this, unless you did something to provoke it or touched an injury, that shouldn't happen.

That seems extremely fake.

dolphins can be aggressive swimmers

Dolphins are the jerks of the sea, they kill things for fun, and have been known to rape people. Do not underestimate them.

guarantee you are either lying or exaggerating

dolphins are gay...

Yes, I agree with 25, they definitely rape you. I remember this one from "Moderate the FMLs" hehe...

A marine biologist friend once informed me that dolphins will use porpoises as footballs , just for the badness of it. Additionally, the stories of them saving fishermen is a result of engrained cooperative behaviour patterns with other dolphins, where if a dolphin looks as though it is in distress, the others will push it to the surface so it doesn't drown. A human is a similar size so they react instinctively. Interestingly, they will do the same to a shark they have just battered insensible. The compulsion to assist something dolphin shaped takes over. After defeating it, they will push it to surface.

I find it hard to believe the trainer would tell you they were harmless creatures. It tends to be a somewhat well known fact that swimming with wild dolphins can be incredibly dangerous.
