Today, I found out that the reason all my former friends believed a bunch of rumors about me was because the person they were hearing them from was my former roommate. For two years I wondered why they didn't just ask me, now I know it's because they thought if anyone would know the truth, it would be her. UGH. FML
Today, I found out about my old school's class reunion, which I wasn't invited to. Everyone has my number and e-mail address. They just "forgot" to tell me. FML
Today, I finally found out what happened to my ex-girlfriend from my high school days, since a few years ago she suddenly stopped using social media and never returned my texts or calls to see how she was doing. Turns out she died, and no one bothered to inform me. FML
Today, I found out why the group chat I was in with my friends has been dead. Apparently, they made a group chat without me in it, so that they could make fun of me behind my back. FML
Today, I found out why I was always picked up last from school. My parents didn't want the other parents to find out I was their kid. FML
Today, I found out that no one actually likes me as a friend. They only like me to get answers for schoolwork. How did I find out? They were talking about it in front of me. Apparently I'm also invisible to them. FML
Today, the boy I have crush on at school announced that his family were moving to Australia. My friend thought that it would be funny to spread a rumour that I was moving too, in order to follow him. Everyone has heard it, and unfortunately everyone believes it, including him. FML
Today, the girls from my high school still think they are too cool to associate with me. They ignored/avoided me in high school, assuming I was too weird. We could have 96+ mutual followers from our class and I still only get accepted without a follow back. What have they heard about me? FML
Today, my classmates refuse to believe I have a girlfriend, all because I said she goes to a different school. She actually does, but apparently too many fakers have used that as an excuse for it to have any credibility. FML
Today, I heard a rumor about myself going around my high school that I am pregnant, I've dropped out of school, and that my belly is showing. I'm not actually pregnant. I've been severely depressed, so I've missed a few days of school and I've been eating too much apparently. FML

Go one better. Turn up at school wearing an eyepatch with some fake scars. When people say "i thought you were dead" reply with "it takes a helluva lot more than a yacht explosion to kill me."

This happened to me too. And c'mon guys, it DOES suck. Especially when you realize no one seems to be particularly relieved that you're still alive... ): Don't bother pretending it wouldn't bother you even a little bit. Even if you hate the little ninnies, it still stings to know there are people out there- people you'd known since spelling tests were made up of words like cat and big- that wouldn't mourn you at all if you died.

Lol, this happened to my fiance when he was younger. He woke up to the cops pounding on his door and trying to discern if he was alive. Then he had to deal with each new person that saw him coming up and crying that they had thought he was dead...

It sucks to have people talk behind your back but heres an FYI, everyone talks smack...EVERYONE. Even in the real world once you get out of HS and get a job there will still be smack talk. You just got to learn to overcome it. At least you don't go to school there anymore...brightside?

Why do you really care? If you've lost contact with them, then they are probably not important and don't even matter. I'd actually feel better if some people from my old schools thought I was dead.
