Questions about your love life, a burnt turkey and the cousin who knows everything: Thanksgiving, a contact sport.
Today, my band got booed off stage. FML
Today, I had my high school piano recital. The entire time I was playing, one of my classmates sitting up front kept booing me and yelling "YOU SUCK" at the top of his lungs. He drowned out the entire song. FML
Today, after months of constant encouragement from my friends, I went and entered a singing contest. I sang and was booed off stage. Later on I found out my friends lied to me about my ability to sing, just so I could give them a cheap laugh. FML
Today, I was in a band with some friends and we got our first gig at a local festival, but I'd already agreed to work serving drinks at the festival. My bandmates got really annoyed and kicked me out of the band. They then went ahead and performed the song that I WROTE, without me, at the festival where I was working. FML
Today, I had my first chorus concert. We got a bigger applause when we left the stage than when we sang. FML
Today, I went to my kid's band concert. She's 12 and in the advanced team. They were the first ones to play and they were so incredibly bad that I laughed. Really, really loud. I was escorted out of the recital. FML
Today, I was a guest performer for a school orchestra concert a grade above mine. When they called my name, I didn’t hear them, so when they started the song hundreds of people watched me run on stage. FML
Today, my band and I played at our first ever real gig. Our drummer turned up high out of his damn mind. After ruining our act with his godawful performance, he screamed "HELL YEAH!" then ran and dove off the stage into a nearly non-existent audience. We were told to never come back. FML
Today, I overcame my stage fright and got up in front of a café audience with my acoustic guitar to sing a few of my songs. Some asshat kept yelling stuff like "NEEDS MORE COWBELL!" and "FREEBIRD!", which made me lose my nerve and flee. FML
Today, I went to see one of my favorite bands. When they started playing my favorite song I whipped out my video camera and sang along. As I was reviewing the video later, I realized that I couldn't even hear the band over my horrible singing. FML

Maybe they simply weren't done booing for the group you were following.

that sucks but if they announced your band name that's what they could have been booing...I've heard some truly awful band names but I'm giving you an YDI cause of the lack of details

FML only gives you 300 Characters word space. Do you want him to write you a essay

Just hope they werent booing cuz they hated you. Same thing happened to my band in high school. Freshman year. The jokes came til the beginning of my senior year. It sucks. Now that we are in college, we have more respect. It just tskes time- the first gig is always the hardest

I think booing before you start playing makes the audience look bad, its better than booing at your performance.

By "Band" I'm going with a Boy Band. That's all I can think about when a band is getting booed so fast. OP I'm sorry, but we don't need another One Direction.

I told you not to name your band "The Happy Hitlers" and dress in Nazi regalia, but did you listen?

This sounds like my experience at Amateur Night at Chippendale's. The good news is the throng of horny, drunk ladies paid me more to "keep it on" than they pay the pros to take it off.

Builds character by lowering self esteem.

You should work at a suicide hotline.

I'll consider it next time I'm job hunting.

#62, essentially "what doesn't kill me makes me stronger," right? Fun fact: That hack, Nietzsche, lifted that line from Kelly Clarkson.

I was going to say get used to it but I realized that it's a talent show.
