Today, my psycho stepmother and I got into an argument, and she started to get physical. After calling the police, and a cop showing up at the door, he took her side because she said it was "discipline". I'm a 29 year-old man. FML

Well, actually using "a reasonable amount of physical force" to discipline your child is not a crime. But yeah if OP was really hurt it would be considered domestic abuse. However, I think that as a 29 man, some adult resolution could have been found.

You know, if Canadians didn't go off the deep end when someone makes a joke, it'd be less fun to make fun of them. I just don't understand why most of them are so sensitive about it, it's just another country in the world. (That also has fat people and trailer homes, might I add. Or is Tim Horton's a health food place?)
