Forever the bridesmaid
Today, after watching my roommate and her boyfriend be all lovey dovey for months, I now have to watch two of our other friends flirting as well. I'm painfully single and have been struggling to change that for years. FML

Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I found that my "lesbian" best friend and roommate is now dating the guy I've been trying to get a date with for weeks. FML
Today, I found out that the only two people I've had feelings for in years are both dating each other. FML
Today, my roommate's boyfriend moved in. I'm in love with him. Now I get to live with the happy couple. FML
Today, after months of searching, I finally found a flat that is affordable and with amazing flatmates. The catch? I'm developing feelings for one of them. My heart sinks when they have a date over. I'm also in a relationship. The situation is eating me up inside. I hate that I'll have to go. Cupid, go f*ck yourself. FML
Today, I'm crushing so hard on my male roommate that I've basically become a doormat for him. Meanwhile, he's on the phone for hours with the pretty girl he met over Tinder. I feel pathetic, stupid and jealous, which I have no right to be. Worst part, we're still quarantined together. FML
Today, after my fiancé and I recently separated, their choice not mine, we decided to stay friends, and still live in the same house. Now I get the pleasure of listening to him flirt and have long conversations with some girl every night. FML
Today, after years of crushing over my best friend, I finally got the guts to tell her about my feelings, only to find out she has been secretly dating my roommate. I could not have been more depressed. My whole life feels shattered. FML
Today, I set up a date between my roommate, who I'm in love with, and his crush, who I'm jealous of. FML
Today, as I recently starting having a huge crush on this one guy, my friend told me she told him about the crush, and that he reacted positively. I made a move, only to find out he has a partner. I've tried distancing myself to get over him but he befriended all my friends and is now in our group chat, and the crush has only intensified. FML
Today, my roommate revealed that she's dating my ex. I later had to navigate around them caressing each other just to grab my noodles from the microwave. FML
Feel like sharing it with the other FML users?
Thanks, your FML was submitted, and will appear in the moderation queue soon!

I don’t think she meant “watching them”. Since op is her roommate she can’t help to see it. Same thing with her friends. A better way for her to have put it would’ve been for her to say she “sees” them. Rather than “watches” them. I’ve been guilty of not always wording things the best way myself.

OP, I think the standard advice is to do an honest self-inventory. Obviously what you have been doing isn’t working that well. Figure out the kind of person you want to be and take steps in that direction. Also look into interests or activities that are still possible during these times that would let you meet the kind of person you want to meet and who would be interested in you. Finally, just as you would want to be judged for the kind of person you are and not purely on your looks - Likewise look at others in that way. Avoid being clingy or coming off as desperate - that turns people off. Also I suggest avoiding the “meat markets” like Tinder or bars as it’s rare that long term relationships come from there. One last thing - Dating is a skill. It’s not born in you. Talk to someone you trust who can help you.

Why are you watching them? That's kind of creepy.
