Today, for my birthday, my friends and family gave me: A Wii Fit, a free year at the gym and a book of diet recipes. They didn't consult with each other. I've asked for "something corresponding to me". FML

You shouldnt have expected them to give you a car. Youd be pretty lucky if you got a car and its not as if your parents are obliged to give their 16 year old a car. Take the gym membership. Be grateful

YDI, maybe if you weren't fat they would have gotten you the car. That might sound harsh, but you sound like an immature and bitchy little &%$* for expecting so much. Billions live in poverty and work for under one USD a day to survive, and you're expecting sympathy from people on the internet because you didn't get the present you wanted because you turned 16!

They should have got you a hot bicycle, so you can get exercise and increased mobility for the life of the bike instead of just 3 months.

That's much better than a car. You should use it. And I also agree with #12, but I guess walking to the gym will be a good work out too.

@10 That made me laugh. But yeah, the real world will destroy you if you are going to whine about every small thing that doesn't go your way. I'm 19 and still don't have a car. Big deals, if you got a pair of legs, you can get as far as 10 miles in an hour, and if you're real good, 20 miles in an hour.

No. Just, no. 10 miles in an hour MAYBE. That's a 6 minute mile. But 20? A 3 minute mile? I'd say more like 6 in an hour. Because our friend OP here, being the fatass she is will not have the ambition to almost sprint 10 miles.

What? I'd be more than happy to receive a gym membership, and I don't even need to lose weight...health is important, and those things cost a lot of money too! You can always get a car later when you get enough money to buy one yourself...

btw i had to buy my own car. god forbid your parents didn't buy you one. i hate the kids i used to go to high school with driving around in their cars that daddy bought for them. a gym membership is great. maybe you should loose some weight. its good for you. stop being lazy. :)

I wasn't even allowed to get my licence until I was 17. And I had to by a clunker off my mom before I even had a car to drive!
