Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I was accused of being a "racist whore" at work. I'd only asked a man if he needed help finding anything, as that is part of my job. FML
Today, my boss sent me home from work because she saw me not checking under my customer's cart to see if they had any hidden groceries. I didn't check because the customer threatened to "kick my ass" if I "accused him of stealing" by checking. FML
Today, I was shopping at a store from which I had previously bought a shirt. The clerk accused me of trying to steal my own shirt and called security. They examined it and argued with me for so long I was late to work. FML
Today, my sister got me in deep trouble at the store I worked security for. She "dropped by to say hi" and stole a bunch of things when I wasn't looking. I wasn't arrested, due to lack of any evidence. But my boss didn't care about evidence and fired me anyway. FML
Today, while bagging my groceries at a store, a lady came over to me, took a good look at the food I'd bought, picked out an item and put it in her bag. When I confronted her, she called security on me and told them I wanted to steal her stuff. I got thrown out and she walked away with a smirk. FML
Today, I arrived at work, only to be arrested and accused of stealing over $8000 from my job. Five hours later at the police station, the discovery was made that the actual thief had an employee ID one digit different than mine. He works at another location over 1200 miles away. FML
Today, at work, somebody stole my sunglasses. Fed up with the constant theft in my office, I stormed up to my boss, as he had long ago promised to catch the thief. He listened patiently to my rant before pointing out that my sunglasses were on my head. FML
Today, I got a talking-to at work from my new manager for eating other peoples' lunches. Immediately afterwards, I watched my manager leave the room, take MY lunch, and begin eating it. Apparently my new manager is the thief, and I'm now the office pariah who gets the blame. Nobody believes me. FML
Today, my coworker and I were swamped with coffee orders. I told him I would "take care of the blacks", and a customer who only heard that sentence screamed at me for several minutes about racism. FML
Today, while I was home sick from work, my neighbor got packages delivered. Our apartments have had a lot of thefts lately so, being neighborly, I brought her stuff inside to wait. When she came home, I gave them right to her. Instead of thanking me, she told the office that I was the thief all along. FML

"Correct, stereotypes don't just make themselves. Racist assholes like you do." Then walk away.

Wanted so say "Alabama... Sorry, bro!" ...and then realized I would be doing exactly the same thing she did.

Don't just "have a talk" with her. Racist people are most likely going to remain racist no matter what. Report her to HR immediately

Stereotypes absolutely suck

I don't know how it works in the U.S, but I'm pretty sure you get her ass in jail.

Everyone who's saying report her to he is racist everyone who thinks there is a such thing as a hate crime is racist there is black and white it's a crime not a hate crime

It's creating a hostile work environment, and it would still be a crime if the person creating the hostile work environment were black. If another black employee were in the habit of using racial slurs, that'd be a hostile work environment.

Nobody is saying that this is a hate crime, they're telling the OP to go to HR, and he should. His coworker has no business to falsely accuse him of a wrongdoing just based solely on his skin color and without proof. You have every right to take a matter like this to HR, because even if you don't like a coworker just because of the color of their skin, that doesn't give you an excuse to be racist towards them on the job.
