Today, I confided to my dad that my girlfriend had dumped me for another guy. He said, "Good" and explained that given how overpopulated the planet is, he's actually disappointed that I'm not gay. His advice was, "Just wank it off and move on." FML
Today, I went to my father for advice. I've been seeing a wonderful girl for the past month, and I feel terrible about it, because I already have a girlfriend. He said "Kill yourself" and that if I "can't even do that right" then to get out of his house, because he disowns me. FML
Today, at 18, I finally told my mom I was gay. She spent the rest of the day bringing up my "future wife" at every possible chance she had. FML

definitely a shitty attitude! take your time and let her know, if having sex is a requirement for her then she'll also let you know. partners should always respect your boundaries no matter what. what he did is the opposite of parenting and respect

I am so sorry he reacted that way.. and for the girlfriend, just tell her. Let her know how you feel. If she gets upset or leaves, let her. You shouldn't have to feel pressured to have sex if you aren't ready.
