Today, I tried to buy a bottle of juice on sale. When it didn't ring up the sale price, they told me that the bottle was just on the wrong shelf and it wasn't on sale. I demanded that they honor the price, and they had security escort me out, without the juice. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, after getting home from shopping, I noticed a security tag was still on one of the shirts I bought. I decided to take it back and ask them to remove the tag. They then accused me of trying to steal (even after I showed them the receipt) and kicked me out of the store. FML
Today, at the grocery store, the scanner at the register gave a higher price for a product than the price tag on the shelf. Apparently I was the one being unreasonable for insisting to pay the price advertised on the shelf, and not some secret price they never told me about. FML
Today, while bagging my groceries at a store, a lady came over to me, took a good look at the food I'd bought, picked out an item and put it in her bag. When I confronted her, she called security on me and told them I wanted to steal her stuff. I got thrown out and she walked away with a smirk. FML
Today, I was at the supermarket when an elderly lady asked if I'd grab some coffee for her from a high shelf. The moment I took my hands off my almost-full shopping cart, she made off with it. I ended up getting thrown out by security after she claimed I was trying to steal it from her. FML
Today, I made a fresh juice for a customer. He called the cops because the juice was too acidic for him. He sat in a corner and waited for two hours for them to arrive. Obviously, they didn't turn up. So he yelled at me and left. FML
Today, at my supermarket job, I told an elderly woman that we no longer sell her favorite juice due to supply chain issues. She got so upset that she peed on the floor. I had to clean it up. I don’t get paid enough for this. FML
Today, I was shopping with my husband. At the self-checkout, one of the items I was buying for him as a gift didn’t register. As we were walking out, I get stopped and escorted to the loss prevention office, where I was accused of stealing. FML
Today, I was shopping at a store from which I had previously bought a shirt. The clerk accused me of trying to steal my own shirt and called security. They examined it and argued with me for so long I was late to work. FML
Today, at work, I had a customer accuse me of taking the giftcard I had issued her for her return, after spending 15 minutes trying to fix her screwed up transaction. She began to yell, and follow me around the store. Security had to intervene and I had to be locked in an office until she left. FML
Today, working in a liquor store, I had to tell a girl I couldn't sell her alcohol since she was severely intoxicated. She told me to "cash me ousside, how bow dat?" then smashed a bottle of wine and left. FML

you're a dumbass. people pick stuff up and put it down in the wrong spot all the time. not the store's fault. I always check the info on sale and clearance tags. try it sometime....

Most retailers don't escort you out for merely asking if they would honour a price you mistakenly thought applied to something. i mean, I guess you even describe it as "demanding" it, yourself. My guess is you're still downplaying just how insistent and/or disruptive you were being over this. Like... my dude, it's a bottle of juice - and not even a whole free bottle, just a few bucks off at most, I'm guessing. Is that really a hill you want to die on? Pick your battles better, and even then, STILL don't be a dick about things.

Everyone pretty much already said what I was going to say, but... yeah, did the sale price say it was for that specific juice? Same brand, size, etc.? Obviously not. And I'm guessing it was the only one of that kind on the shelf, another indicator that the wrong item is by the sale tag. I can't imagine someone making such a huge stink about juice that they have to be escorted out by security. Geez...

Someone should develop a store where entitled assholes like you can shop away from decent people, however the staff would be allowed to respond in kind and then tell you to **** off.
