Today, and since 2026 started, my two friends began liking each other and I'm very happy for them. The problem? They get so close (literally and figuratively) that they do things that make me feel left out (both subjectively and objectively). Everyone says it's normal, but when I was in love I never did that. FML
Today, I realized my friends were right about my obsession for my only son when I found myself genuinely jealous when I heard he recently got a new girlfriend. FML
Today, I realized how alone I truly was when I caught myself talking to a podcast. FML
Today, I've never been so lonely nor felt so romantically neglected as when I got married. FML
Today, after watching the news, I realized the only person who has ever wished that I had a good day, or wished that I had anything pleasant for that matter, is Charlie Gibson on World News Tonight. FML

As pitiful as this sounds, I can relate. They have great working chemistry and in these dire times, it's nice to get a laugh in.
