Today, I found out that my shower area is in direct view from my neighbours' balcony. I realised this when I caught my neighbour and his wife watching me while I was getting dressed. I've been living here for 7 years. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, after taking a refreshing shower, I found out that due to a newly-built platform, people in the apartment underneath can see right into my bedroom. While I was standing there completely naked, some guy smiled at me. FML
Today, I was in the middle of having a shower when I noticed a camera hidden in the corner of the room pointing directly towards the shower which I stood in butt-naked. I live by myself and have recently only moved in. FML
Today, I found out that I bought a house next door to crazy people. She asked me if I would mind not showering when her husband is at home, because he can hear me and knowing I’m naked on the other side of the wall turns him on, which is a nuisance for her. He’s unemployed. He’s always at home, the creep. FML
Today, as I sat on the toilet, I heard a noise outside. I peered through the window and found myself staring directly at my neighbor. FML
Today, I heard my neighbors having a violent argument in their front yard. I listened in, and soon found out why the wife wasn't happy with her husband. Apparently, she had caught her husband peeking through my windows for the second time this month. FML
Today, I was standing on the balcony I share with the neighboring apartment. My morbidly obese neighbor didn't know I was there, and walked out with her breasts exposed. Her boyfriend then walked out and struck up a conversation with me about the fine weather we're having. FML
Today, I found out that my landlord had been showing my apartment to new tenants without telling me, when I woke up this morning to a family of four staring at me scratching my nuts whilst watching TV on my couch in my pajamas, horrified. FML
Today, I was stretching on the balcony, when I heard my neighbor's daughter scream. She was playing in their kiddie pool and thought I was peeping on her. And now her parents think so too. FML
Today, I woke up to my step-mother taking a shower in my bathroom. Of course, this would be fine, if my bathroom wasn't connected to my room and closet, or that I live in an apartment in their back yard, built before she moved in. FML
Today, I noticed that my neighbor's house has a clear view of my daughter's bathroom. There is a telescope in his window. FML

I think if she didn’t have some sort of a curtain it would be really hard to keep the floor dry while taking a shower. I’m pretty handy around the house. And I really appreciate it being as bright as possible while I’m in the Bathroom. My back yard backs up to the beginning of a walking trail. So I have a nice shower curtain. And where the shower wall used to be is clear glass. The nice thing of being 66 years old instead of 20 is that nobody looks anymore while I’m taking a shower.

I've never even seen a shower visible to someone standing right outside the bathroom, most aren't even visible from inside the bathroom. How do you manage to get one visible clear across your property *and* not notice for 7 years?

I had an apartment with a window in our bathroom and you could see in from the school across the hall. I found this out in the first week I lived there though, got a shower curtain in the bathroom.

ventilation and, to a lesser extent, light. A better question is why were there no curtains/blinds on the windows. If you can see out your neighbors can see in. I have no idea why this concept escapes so many people
