Today, I noticed a picture in an elderly patient's room, of a pretty girl in a bikini. Trying to be funny and lighten the mood, I said, "Looks like you have some good eye candy to help you recover faster." With a stern look he replied, "That's my granddaughter." FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, we spent the day with my grandmother. During a family conversation, my sweet little grandmother looked me up and down, and without any hesitation said, "I remember you being so beautiful," before looking at my mother, mouthing, "What happened?" and laughing. She's 87. FML
Today, my date told me I have a smile that "reminds him of his grandma." Then he showed me a picture. I look exactly like her. FML
Today, I was at a restaurant with my grandma. A young, ripped gentleman suddenly walked through the door and my grandma looked at him and shouted, "Look! Eye candy!" as loud as she could. He heard it and was extremely embarrassed. To make it worse, my grandma is a widow, so she might have actually meant it. FML
Today, I went to go see my granddad in the hospital and asked if he needed anything. He replied, "I need you to get out and send that hot nurse in, I may be old but I still got it." FML
Today, I had to get my picture taken for a volunteer badge at the hospital. My sister came home and told my parents that she'd had a horrible day at work. They showed her my picture to cheer her up. FML
Today, I asked my grandmother what she looked like when she was young. She casually replied, "I was ugly, sweetie. Just like you." FML
Today, while working at a hospital, I told a patient to smile for the camera when taking an xray. His response was, "I have Bell's Palsy and haven't smiled in 5 years." FML
Today, I made a nursing home resident laugh so hard that he had a heart attack. FML
Today, my racist grandmother was complaining that the new nurse at her nursing home is a black woman. I casually asked, "Is she cute?" I'm now out of the will. FML
Today, I took my two-year-old daughter swimming. While sitting in the hot tub, my daughter pointed to the elderly man sitting across from us and mumbled something. I couldn't understand her, so I asked her to repeat it. After two more attempts, she shouted, "MOM! He has big boobs!" FML

I'm just curious, what kind of granddaughter gives a picture of herself in a bikini to her grandfather? I also have to ask what kind of grandpa frames it and has it brought to the hospital? I'm sure he must of had more appropriate photos of her so why bring that one? Was he trying to spark some doctors attention and want to date her? the whole damn thing is just creepy.

I'm not going to go and say YDI or anything because to me it's an honest (and in this case, a somewhat embarrassing) mistake that OP has made. I've got a couple of photos of me and some guys on the wall in my room but in no way and I or will I ever be involved with either of them. And what's the big deal about her wearing a bikini. Like lots of people have said - maybe they were on holidays or something. Just because someone's wearing something like that, doesn't mean there has to be something sexual about it.

In fairness, I'd be pretty creeped out if my grandfather had a photo of me in a bikini in his room. Even if it was a holiday shot. So yeah... not an unfair assumption to make.
