Better Call Small
Today, I was eating at a restaurant with my boyfriend. He's 6'2 and I'm 4'11. Out of nowhere, the hostess started openly flirting with him, and asked him if he needed a booster chair for his daughter. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I was working as a host at a pasta diner. The hostess I was working with was very attractive and we were flirting quite a bit. A large woman walked in to be seated, and I leaned over to her and dared her to ask the woman if she wanted two chairs. She leaned back and said, "That's my mom." FML
Today, someone thought I was my boyfriend's daughter, instead of his girlfriend. I'm 4'11", he's 6'2", and this has happened four times already. FML
Today, I was on a first date. I asked her what she brought to the table since I’m a pretty well established guy. A voice in the booth behind me yelled out, “How bout a booster seat, Smurf!” Everyone laughed so hard I got up and left. I’m 5ft3 and bitches always make it about my height. FML
Today, someone asked me if I was my boyfriend's little sister, just because of our height difference. He's 6'2", I'm 4'11", and this is the fifth time it has happened. FML
Today, I went to a restaurant with some friends. I noticed a very cute waitress about my age, so I walked over to her and asked if she had a boyfriend. The extremely fit, attractive waiter standing next to her immediately turned, held out his hand and goes, "Yeah. Meet me." FML
Today, I asked a girl at the restaurant I work at if she'd had enough to eat. When she said yes, I said, "Are you sure?" I didn't realize how insulting it sounded until her equally overweight mom was up in my face, demanding to see my manager. FML
Today, while waiting on a customer at a restaurant, I accidentally asked a midget if she'd like a children's menu. FML
Today, I went out to eat with friends. My crush was also at the restaurant with his friends. He smiled at me as I took a mouthful of food, and I choked. The waitress had to perform the Heimlich maneuver on me, while he and his friends fell off their chairs laughing. FML
Today, I went out to eat with my girlfriend. The waiter came up and was being nice. He said, "What can I get you two gentlemen?" FML
Today, I was out to dinner with a friend I had a crush on. The whole time, he was flirting with the waitress while I was trying to get him to notice me. When we got the check, he looked at her and said, "She's not my girlfriend, I only go out with pretty girls. So, can I have your number?" FML

He loves you. Ask yourself this. He is handsome enough for people to randomly flirt with. He is with you. This means you are very worth his time and his love. Be proud. Height is irrelevant.

I put "you deserved it" mainly because I used to be that short in high school. All the girls my height were taken by 6+ footers. It left nothing for the short guys. That's just creepy. He deserves to get that thrown in his face that he's dating a girl way too short for him.

Very true, Monkey. I spit on personality! Douchbags of the proper height are always better than those bitches who care for you regardless of appearance! Loving bastards...

okayy first...why is everyone downing short people? I, in fact, wish I was 4'11". I've wanted to be shorter than I actually am my whole life. I think it's a sign of beauty. besides she can't help that she's so small. and tall guys like the fact that their woman has to look up to them. it makes them feel more like a man. it was indeed unfortunate that the waitress did that tho. you should have looked at your man and said "Do you think I need a booster seat, baby?" and shut her ass up.

I agree with you #20 I am taller than my boyfriend, and have always wanted to be shorter

You're right. No guys like it when their girlfriend is taller. It's a huge embarrassment.

Employees who assume they know relations between people and speak openly as if there's no doubt that they are correct piss me off. It's rude. I don't care if you're trying to be friendly. When you work with customers, you never assume they are siblings, dating, married, child/parent, or anything like that. It's presumptuous and rude. Even if they're correct in their assumption, I don't want STRABGERS analyzing the relationships I have with other people. If you want to make sure, ask, or better yet, if you insist on small talk, don't let your small talk rely on assumptions.
