Bake off

Today, it's my three month anniversary with my girlfriend and so I decided to bake her a cake from scratch. It took me three hours, a call to my mom, three different recipe books, and half my pantry. On the way to her house, I stopped to pick up flowers and left the cake in the car. It melted. FML

You would have been ok with just the flowers man. Who celebrates 3 months anyway?

damn. I'm not a person alive in a relationship understands that anniversary is a yearly thing. as in annual. idiots.

When me and my boyfriend got together, we celebrated each monthly anniversary until 1 year, now we do yearly and sometimes half year (: Sucks about the cake ! But it's the thought that counts =] Nice to know there are guys out there like you

that's what you get for being a DB. its only three months dumb ass. oh what you must be 14.

Someone's never had a relationship last longer than 3 minutes and is jelly. I wonder who.

What's wrong with saying pantry? Some people actually have a small closet where they store dried goods. Which is called a pantry

who celebrates a three month anniversary?!?!?

Okay let's clear something up here. "Anniversary" means "yearly", not "monthly". You don't celebrate anniversaries by the month. if you can make a relationship last past a year then there's a reason to celebrate. I get so sick of seeing people all over the internet, FB, etc. gushing over how many "months" they've been together....grow up already lol.

awww! that's sad! but it's the thought that counts! :)

eh, it's ok. You should have put it in a bowl and made it cake soup. Personally I would have loved that.

I honestly feel like the monthly anniversary ( annual ppl!!!!!!!!) Pulls away from the value of the relationship. I mean how special would you birth be if every monththu say

I honestly feel like the monthly anniversary ( annual ppl!) Pulls away from the value of the relationship. I mean how special would your birth be if every month you say "I was born on this day, but not this month. Cake?" Don't waste your time. But w.e to each their own.

I agree. My bf and I didn't even celebrate our actual anniversaries together yet, since we have a long-distance relationship. So far I 'remembered' it with him and tried being nostalgic a bit, but that seemed to have failed.
