Today, my English teacher used the word "interpretate" again. This isn't the only mistake she's made though; I've been so frustrated that I've started a list of them. It's over a page long. I'm meant to be learning things from this woman. FML

Today, the feedback my teacher wrote on my English assignment was so horrible that it took me half an hour and help from both my parents to decipher it. It turned out to be a scathing criticism of my "poor communication skills". I hate my teachers. FML
Today, my English teacher kicked me out of class for being "rude and disruptive." In actuality, I had called her out for having blatantly used Google Translate for several example sentences, all of which sounded as if a semi-literate foreigner had constructed them. FML
Today, I was teaching a class when a student pointed out that I'd used the wrong "your/you're" while writing on the board. FML
Today, I got back the essay I wrote about how my country's education system is fucked. At one point, I made a spelling mistake. My teacher wrote a note about it, basically calling me illiterate, and telling me to pay attention in school instead of whining about it. She misspelled "school". FML
Today, my boss yelled at me for ruining the report she was supposed to write with my "terrible spelling and grammar". I've checked it thoroughly, and all of her 'corrections' are wrong. She doesn’t believe me, and is refusing to look at a dictionary. FML
Today, my English teacher told me that I failed my grammar test. Her exact words were "You ain't gonna pass this class if you ain't gonna study." FML
Today, I got my language final exam back. It was a 10-page essay front and back, and I saw that I received a D. The teacher told me the plot was too hard to follow and it jumped all over the place. It turns out he forgot to read the back of every page. FML
Today, I received a terrible grade for an essay I worked really hard on. I had two friends, one being an English major, check it over. However, apparently I "clearly didn't use spellcheck" on this essay just like the last one I submitted to her. FML
Today, I had to listen to my classmate loudly argue a question she got wrong on a test for half an hour, repeating the same incorrect argument ad nauseam. She screamed at the rightfully exasperated teacher for being "biased" when he gave up, and started screaming again when I tried to explain it in a different way. FML
Today, I was teaching a ten year old how to play piano. Halfway through the lesson, she made a minor mistake, which, trying to be a good tutor, I corrected her. She smiled up at me, paused, then slammed the key cover down onto my fingers. FML

I had to fill out one of those sheets myself. My issue was the teacher incorrectly used the word "impact" all throughout the course.

I had a manager that would say "hective" instead of "hectic." I would always smirk and see if anyone noticed but I guess you can't just shrug it off when it's your education.

Is her name Mrs. Arnold? My English teacher junior year of high school pronounced so many things wrong. She pronounced 'gesture' as "guess-chur", 'labyrinth' as "lab-eye-renth', and sepulchre as "Sep-el-shay'. I know your pain.

I'm not sure if I could contain myself if I heard that pronunciation of "gesture". There was a guest lecturer in my class once who pronounced "femme fatale" like "FEM-mi FAY-tel", but she seemed brilliant other than that.

I hate having teachers like that. Just shows how much these school care about our education. They don't. So therefore they don't even take the time to find teachers that actually know what they're going. It's better in places like Finland

No kidding. I had an English teacher in high school who told us about a class she had "teached", along with many other errors, and she hated me for the entire year because I corrected her once. She actually tried to fail me by conveniently losing about half of my work and then claiming I had never handed it in. If they cared about our education at all, people like this would never have even been able to become teachers.

In fairness to her, the nominal form of interpret is interpretation. So she's still wrong, but at least there's a basis for her mistake.

I know how you feel, my admin teacher is hardly in class either due to coffee or cigarette breaks or just to talk to other teachers. I take notes of the times he comes in and out of class. The first time I took it down, he was in for 10 out of 50 minutes. The worst thing is, he's not going anywhere soon unless he fires himself or retires :/
