Alexa, play "Isolation" by Joy Division
Today, my son has always been antisocial but ever since he bought his first house he has seemingly disappeared behind its walls, never lets anybody visit, and has broken off contact with everybody he knows. Were it not for his coworkers telling me he’s at work everyday, I’d think he was dead. FML

Honestly, I'd need more detail to officially vote on an FML like this because without knowing more details of circumstance, we are all left to just make assumptions.

Sounds like his family may have been very intrusive when he was growing up, never got any time to himself, always asked to do things etc. now he has his own place, he’s finally just chilling out, being able to do his own thing, when and how he likes. But could also be depression, so keep an eye on things just in case

Honestly, this one matches almost perfectly with this one. https://www.fmylife.com/article/fortress-of-solitude_381970.html

Who cares if he is antisocial? He is happy, leave him be. Not everyone likes being around other people.

I hope you mean "asocial." (Said in that nasal tone of voice people say, "I hope you mean ex-boyfriend.") If he's antisocial, you ought to force yourself into the house to make sure he's not building bombs or hoarding guns 'n ammo. If he's asocial, just go ahead and leave him the **** alone.

Antisocial is very different than what you are describing. You may want to look up the definition.

Let him be. If he wants to do his own thing, that's his business, not yours.

Chances are you were a terrible parent. My parents said I was antisocial but im reality I stopped talking because they would always steamroll everything about me, they did everything they could to ensure I knew I didn't have a voice. Most of the time when kids cut ties with there parents it's because of how they were treated growing up. Family isn't blood. This is 100% your fault
