YDI for keeping red bull around your house when you have kids. What are you, a college freshman? You probably won't be drinking red bull ever again, but try to use common sense.
If your youngest kid drinks redbull what do your older ones drink?! Beer?! YDI idiot!
And what if the oldest one would be old enough for that? You make yourself sound stupid, you know.
You deserve it for being such a crappy parent. If you were doing your JOB none of it would have happened. Hopefully social services will step in and get you enrolled in some parenting classes.
Sooo parents are supposed to watch their child 24/7? You sir, are a moron...
at least it wasn't your oldest son
Here in the U.S., where we're not quite a Health-Nazi police state yet, the way you evidently already are in Britain, IT IS NOT ILLEGAL TO SELL RED BULL TO MINORS. The OP is NOT a "bad parent". He didn't "deserve" to have the jackbooted thugs of Child "Protective" (hahahahaha) Services interrogate him. The reason they grilled him is NOT because the kid drank a Red Bull. It's because thanks to fucktard morons like all you "YDI" dipshits, if a kid comes into the ER with ANY INJURY WHATSOEVER any more, he's ASSUMED to have been "abused", especially if it's the father who brought him in, and absolutely irrespective of the actual truth.
^A voice of reason! Worryingly that seems to be a rare sight these days. However I want to object to you calling us 'Health-Nazis' in the UK, but I don't think I can. Also it's not illegal to sell Red Bull to minors, but it is upto individual Shopkeepers as to whether they put an age limit on it. This all comes from an incident where a kid drank three cans of Red Bull before a basketball match and died not too long after, and they wanted to know whether or not the Red Bull was in any way responsible, so they did a study. Essentially the study came back telling us stuff we already knew (or at least anyone with any common sense) but - because of the 'sue-culture' we seem to have adopted from somewhere - they now assume we have no common sense and so regulations have to be brought in etc etc.
CPS? That's screwed up. What little boy HASN'T gotten stitches before from horsing around? Now it's abuse?

Holy crap, this is the be the biggest bunch of self righteous people jumping to conclusions I've ever seen in one place. You have no clue where he got the Red Bull from, NOR do you have any idea how young the son was. So anyone complaining about the guy "giving" a "little kid" a Red Bull, are you psychic or something? Were you there? No you weren't, so stop pulling details out of your rear end.
redbull it gives you wings!!!!!!! ahhhhhh
