Why do people think that just because the OP said "youngest son" that he's 10 or under? He could be just a really stupid 13-15 year old. Although if he's that old and thought that Redbull gives you wings, then YDI for sheltering him.

Seriously, no one's going to take her kid away for being a dumb kid. If they did then they'd have to take away all kids who are allowed to have sodas (which are just as bad, in case you forgot) and all the kids who do dumb kid things. Chill out, it's not like she made him hurt himself, just because you wouldn't let kids drink red bull doesn't mean you have the right to say if other parents do.

Uh, why is everyone assuming OP gave his son the Red Bull? Maybe he went out and bought it with his lunch money. And most parents would guess that children would take one sip of something so bitter as an energy drink and spit it right out. At least that's what normal children would do. And there's a difference between being sheltered and being stupid. I was the most sheltered kid ever, but I knew not to jump out windows and shit.

Why would you consider sueing redbull? They have a disclaimer. It's because of this stuff even your microwave come with a warning not to place pets or small children in there. Pretty sad really! OP, make sure your kids don't get to caffeïne before their fully grown!

Ok-for all the idiots saying "YDI for giving your kid redbull", I seriously doubt the OP did. I'm pretty sure the OP's son went into the kitchen and got one, drank it, and pulled his stupid stunt. I mean, what do you expect that OP to do? Keep the redbull locked up in a safe or something? Get real. OP: I don't care what age your son is, he is still a total idiot in my eyes.
