Man or woman?

Today, I stepped away from my desk for a few minutes only to return to find the general manager installing updates on my computer. This wouldn't have been an issue had I not pulled up a website explaining in great detail the effects and causes of vaginal yeast infections. FML

I agree, your life sucks (5807) - you totally deserved it (13726)

Wow, where do you work?

#1 - On 11/05/2009 at 3:21am by growingupnextmon

Perhaps it's best to let that type of research wait for your home computer...

#31 - On 11/05/2009 at 7:05pm by Reyo

well at least now he knows why he keeps giving his wife them.

#2 - On 11/05/2009 at 3:22am by FMY_FYL

Well, if you feel the urge to itch, he'll understand now.

#3 - On 11/05/2009 at 3:27am by angleod

That's why you look up this stuff at home instead of the work computer. Saves yourself the embarrassment and the possibility of getting busted for improper use of work equipment.

#4 - On 11/05/2009 at 3:41am by Luckster

Are you one of those women who loves douches?

#5 - On 11/05/2009 at 3:43am by nokillnobeepbeep

Because closing it when you stepped away would just be ridiculous...

#6 - On 11/05/2009 at 3:56am by jchansfan

My thoughts exactly...whoever still doesn't lock their PC when they leave their desk deserves this kind of embarassment. FAIL!

#15 - On 11/05/2009 at 7:34am by Rayn4u

Agreed.

#16 - On 11/05/2009 at 7:38am by BeeSkwaird

That's why you don't do that stuff at work :D

#7 - On 11/05/2009 at 4:06am by lostfaithinpppl

Come, now. You're the one who was silly enough to leave that up on your computer anyway. Besides, do you really think that you should've been doing that at work? *eyeroll*

#8 - On 11/05/2009 at 4:23am by blastvortex

You really shouldn't do that kind of stuff at work, tbh.
Anyways, it doesn't seem like that big of a deal. I mean, so what?

#9 - On 11/05/2009 at 4:31am by BellaMuerte

No wonder it was embarrasing, since he ate you out last night.

#10 - On 11/05/2009 at 5:34am by Flutist

uh if youre looking at shit you dont want people to see you...close it. or copy the url and close it if you dont want to lose it. come on surely this makes sense to you YDI.

#11 - On 11/05/2009 at 5:42am by organisedchaos

Work is for work. Research that on your own time.

#12 - On 11/05/2009 at 6:24am by arissia

Whoops. That's almost Not Safe for Work!

#13 - On 11/05/2009 at 7:10am by quoteXunquote

ever heard of locking your screen :/ it's a company policy in most places for security purposes. :s

#14 - On 11/05/2009 at 7:13am by kile88

Um why would you even research that at work? That makes no sense at all. Take your laptop with you if you want to but don't use company's computer for that! Seriously...

#17 - On 11/05/2009 at 7:40am by capricaz

yea, because everyone has a laptop you fucking spoiled dipshit

#35 - On 11/07/2009 at 7:03pm by mcdys

Use your personal computer for that YDI for wasting time at work

#18 - On 11/05/2009 at 7:56am by ohJeeznotme

Even better, he brought up the buy.com page showing you where to get a good deal on a breadmaker, and a note that said, "If you don't have sourdough, let's get a drink after work."

#19 - On 11/05/2009 at 8:34am by perdix

So i'm guessing none of you have ever had a yeast infection? :)
If you have one, and its serious - you'd NEED to look it up at work.

Any kind of home remedy you can quickly do to ease it off is worth while looking up at work

FYL :)

#20 - On 11/05/2009 at 8:35am by Rachel128

Totally disagree with NEEDING to look it up at work. No wonder my computer at work is so slow, the server is busy pulling up your info on your yeast infection!! If it is THAT bad that it "can't wait", time for a doctor appointment. Now, get back to work!

#21 - On 11/05/2009 at 9:17am by exquisite

I don't know... Sometimes I feel a great NEED to google image 'raging yeast infection' while at work. Come to think of it, maybe that's why my coworkers have been calling me 'thrush mouth' for months.

#22 - On 11/05/2009 at 10:13am by Wileypube

wait so do you actually have an infection and was looking up stuff about it or were you just really perverted and trying to hide it?

#23 - On 11/05/2009 at 10:13am by fringle

YDI for using your work computer to look up personal purposes

#24 - On 11/05/2009 at 11:04am by AshleyRose784

Well, that's the kind of thing you do on your own time at home. I can't stress enough how much you deserved this.

#25 - On 11/05/2009 at 11:39am by Nemephosis

Windows Key + "L" is your friend.

#26 - On 11/05/2009 at 2:19pm by not_my_life

Exactly, not very difficult. 2 keys.....unless, of course, it's a Mac....then I have nothing to say, except that you should've closed it.

#28 - On 11/05/2009 at 3:12pm by Mudkipzrule

lmfao I'm sorry but that's hilarious! it's the first thing that's managed to make me actually lol in days hahahaha

#27 - On 11/05/2009 at 2:58pm by Mzzangel

YDI
because your stupid :D
you could have either freaking CLOSED the window?!
or maybe deleted your history but nooooooo thats to advanced for ya! :D lol

#29 - On 11/05/2009 at 3:41pm by ahmedd

haha lmao!!!

#30 - On 11/05/2009 at 6:53pm by tony91

I feel for you, I really do. However you probably should not have been looking that up while at work. It would be considered personal use and would show that this is what you are doing rather than working. You could get in trouble and it would be embarrassing to have to explain.

#32 - On 11/05/2009 at 8:10pm by lina_c19

Why the FUCK would you do that kind of research while at work?! And then step away leaving the windows open?! YDI, Dumbass.

#33 - On 11/06/2009 at 12:32am by cabernet

What happens at work, stays at work. You do realize that IT has logs of every site you surfed, so even if your GM hadn't run the update, it would have shown up in a monthly traffic audit, right?

Regardless, quit banging yourself with that loaf of sourdough. Seriously. It'll keep your yeast count down.

#34 - On 11/06/2009 at 8:34am by ChicagosWorst

I just realized, yeast infections give a whole new meaning to the expression "bun in the oven."

#36 - On 11/08/2009 at 5:31am by Ninjaface

YDI, that's one of the lessons I taught my team members by sending emails to me from their "unlocked" but unattended workstation's email software (outlook)

#37 - On 11/09/2009 at 3:20am by DeadManRollin

well, I'm a man, and men get a lot of them. I use perscription stuff for that though.
