Today, I bought a nice new dress for a work party. But when I went in, a coworker hurried me into the bathroom saying, "Don't worry we can fix this." She thought someone had been sick on me. Thanks. That was just the pattern of the dress. FML

Well don't be annoyed at her, she was trying to be nice and save you from what she thought would be embarassment. Dresses with complicated patterns or lots of colors tend to come off as ugly so you know...
Well obviously you have bad sense in clothes - take this as advice.

YDI for picking clothing with such a hideous pattern.
My mother once showed me a pair of designer jeans that had been marked down 85%. One of the legs had a pattern that apparently was supposed to resemble leaves. Brown and orange leaves which, when viewed from a distance of over two feet, made the leg look like it was slick with diarrhea.
Care to guess why these jeans were 85% off?

Everyone has their personal taste of what's ugly and what's pretty and it's the individual themselves that draw the lines for that.
It's not like it's grammatically incorrect and we got people from all over the world here so be respectful of others' speech.
Maybe some people actually want to be a little more mannered because the general work "sick" makes it sound a lot less disgusting.
So yeah, be mindful of other people. (sorry, there was a whole confusion in editing and submitting comments, I ended up writing a second one.)
your taste is obviously very bad, or one might even call it "sick" ;-) That should give you reasons to reconsider...maybe you should engage your coworker to buy clothes for you.
