Today, I was at work, photographing a baby boy. I grabbed a bench for him to use to hold himself upright. His mom asked if she should hold him instead, but I told her he'd be fine. Two seconds later, he fell backwards and brought the bench down on top of him. There goes my job. FML

You obviously don't know anything about kids, and gravity.

Well if he was a fairly new baby you shouldnt have expected him to be able to hold his own weight up

Wow. That sucks, for the baby and mom. U should of been smart and let the mom help her child. It's a baby! Not a toddler! Be more careful.

Not sure if FML made an accidental double post, or comment was posted again by user thinking that it wasn't posted the first time...

"not a toddler"? So it's ok to injure a toddler...?

It's a baby, not a toddler, so he wouldn't be able to support himself with the bench like a toddler probably would.

No! Most toddlers can stand up on their own.

... and they fall down on their own pretty well, too.

My child is considered a toddler but I still refer to her as the baby... There really is no indication of age. My daughter could stand at 5 months when she was clearly still a "baby"

Well, there is, but you are just using the definition incorrectly. A baby is defined as a very young child; one newly or recently born. A toddler is described as a child between the ages of one and five. There you go, madam. Now you never have to misuse the term. Now you can use these terms correctly, or like me, correct people who misuse it. :)

*All hail the grammar Nazis. Thank you for trying to save the English language from being repeatedly raped by illiterate morons. But I see how easy that typo is to make, anythingmustbe, so I'm not going to bust your balls too badly. You're welcome.

How many dislikes can I get by saying ****...?

Or maybe 1 was trying to say "Moby next time mom knows better" I suppose OP's name is Moby and every other person is now one, and not as good as 'mom'. :3

This FML is stupid. These comments are stupid. Mom shouldn't have trusted her that much. It's a baby. She should have been so overly protective.

The clues in the word baby, of course he'd bring it down it was bound to happen

You obviously don't know anything about the relationship between babies, and gravity.

Why did u comment twice basically saying the same thing?

Well as a photographer I know how its like and that really sucks :L FYL. But also YDI for not thinking twice about a baby.

Yeah, mom knows her kids. Listen next time. If there will be.
