Employee if the month is just a 'carrot on a stick' for people who work at places like McDonalds and other low pay employers. It's supposed to get you to work harder without giving you any extra pay, bonuses or other benefits.


Once you get a little work and life experience you'll see it for the insult to your intelligence that it is. Companies that really want to reward hard work will offer something better than your picture on the wall.
