OP here, I did this anon cause they never get posted, anyways, yes it was petsmart and yes I did give it back be cause the person who actually won is an amazing person and I didnt think it was fair as she had known much longer than I had. She works in grooming and them and alot of the floor staff gave the manner shit for over a week and I got pay back. all's good imo I went and got an iPad anyways on my cell plan and proved I'm a good person. Still, that was an awful day.

nah, I truly love my job. it was a mistake, shit happens. The manager got hell for a good week from literally everyone in the store. in fact, he still gets shit from the grooming dept. most of it is good fun though. truly I'm not angry. it just made my day horrible which is why I posted this.
Some companies are so great at making people want to work for them... "Here's a reward.. kidding! Give it back." I quit my last job, because after three and a half years, I was making $1.05 per hour less then when I started... I like to think that if I had employees, I would treat them right, to make them want to work for me...
Ugh! It's amazing how craptastic some employers are. I'm glad you're not working there, anymore.

Idk honestly, but it felt like the right thing to do. although the actual winner thought it was more unfair for me. honestly, she is a friend and had no doubt id give it back and the manager that screwed up owes me big time and he knows it?
