Parents owe their kids a college education. My parents provided for me, and I've been saving for my daughter since the day she was born. In 21st century America, turning a kid loose on the world with just a high-school education is setting them up for a very limited future. Sure, there are some people who make it with little formal education, but the odds favor those with college degrees.

If you are not prepared to send a kid all the way through college, keep you dick wrapped and don't bother parenting.

when i read those college money fml from the us, i'm so happy to live in belgium, where it's a lot less expensive to study and where the government support is a lot more human.
