just because you don't physically have your car any more doesn't mean your car payments just dissapear

As I understand it, even if your car gets lost in an inter dimensional portal, and you are making payments, you still have to pay it off. Same goes for mortgage payments.

Arson is a federal crime. You totally deserved it.

Wait. So you're either saying he set fire to his own car, or he deserves it for someone else setting fire to his car? What the **** are you on?

hatepineapple 14

He deserved it for letting it happen to him. Nothing is more important than the safety of one's car.

14 implying that someone can always watch their car and that freak accidents don't occur, as well as (technically) saying that your car is worth more than your well-being. 14 is an idiot.

God Dammit! Why'd you buy a life sized Hotwheel? Everyone knows they are prone to fire.

shoulda taken the unexplained fire and damages cover on your insurance

fyl for still having to pay you debts just because something tragic happens. YDI for not having better insurance coverage to pay off the car.

YDI for having a car in the first place jk

OP, don't worry about it. Just forward it to your imaginary friend, the nonexistence car belong to him *whisper: he forgot to tell them he change address to get away from you*.

33 insurance can't cover something that doesnt exist.

godlybacon- he's obviously trolling. get a sense of humor.

Honestly man, have you taken those kinds if measures.

Came here to say this. That's what insurance is for, to pay off your debts on the car if something like this happens. You can't just take your insurance payment for a weekend in Las Vegas and blow off your debts.

but if it's destroyed, your insurance should cover the cost of the debt.

me and the late Evil Kenevil use to drive around burning cars all the time what's the problem

Just call the office/whatever and explain your situation, no big deal! ..... Unless you burn it and are guilty of murder!!!! 

What is the office/whatever supposed to do? It's not their fault the car was burnt; they still deserve their money.

You work for an insurance company, so that is why you think that way. Admit it!

Is something wrong with you? A car loan is a loan. Doesn't matter what you used the loan for or what happened to it, you still have to pay the loan back. OP deserves it for cheaping out on insurance.

That's not true, my moms truck got stolen earlier this year and the insurance company and dealer made arrangements and paid it off completely.

Obviously your moms insurance covered theft then (the dealership doesn't just "make an agreement" to pay anything). OP obviously didn't have insurance that covered fire. Simple.

that's why we have a thing called insurance.

The insurance company might pay a replacement cost, assuming the car was fully insured. Sometimes what the insurance company pays is not enough to cover what you still owe on the car. You bought the car so you really do have to pay. It doesn't matter if the car no longer functions.

Sooooooooo, why were you late on the payment?
