(0)actually masturbation does count as sexual activity from a medical point of view.
I find it really difficult to believe that both of your parents were present while your doctor was asking you if you are sexually active.
#5 - On 02/22/2009 at 12:15am by overtheparkway
....really? You should never go to the doctor with your parents... especially both of them. Worst case scenario, your same-gendered parent sits in the waiting room. If you're sexually active, you shouldn't really need Mom AND Dad to hold your hand.
If this really happened, you deserved it.

(0)yeah, i agree with, Nope.
(0)ahahhaha
(0)I don't see the problem here, do u really want them to know about your sex life?
#9 - On 02/22/2009 at 12:26am by yes
(0)ahaha exactlyyy.
(0)Really? I dunno about this. Doctors always asked my parents to wait outside when asking personal questions like that... or maybe yours are different
(0)Wait...why did your parents go in with you to see a doctor?
(0)I'm with 6 and 10.
(0)First of all, why'd you say yes right in front of your parents? U should have said "well im not a player like you, dad" (might have made your mom wonder...) roflcopterskates
(0)Way to fail kid...we're probably the same age (might be pushing it there), yet you don't know to tell your rents to fuck off while you talk to the doc? Svegliati, stupido!
your doc is supposed to ask you whether you want your parents there or not..........and your supposed to say no :)
#15 - On 02/22/2009 at 1:16am by lindsey
(0)Usually the doctor asks the parents to leave when they're about to ask those private questions.
god people need to stop posting fake FMLs
who goes into a doctor's office with both parents... nobody
#17 - On 02/22/2009 at 1:41am by Candice
i've never been to the doctor with BOTH of my parents...or either of them past the age of 10?
#18 - On 02/22/2009 at 2:27am by wtf
Why exactly were both of them with you...? Even when my age consisted of a single digit, I never had both of my parents accompany me to the doctor. Fake.
#19 - On 02/22/2009 at 3:11am by Lola
Hmm... Quite rude parents. Why did you need your parents there in the first place? And why don't they already know you're sexually active?
#21 - On 02/22/2009 at 6:12am by Signe
(0)Actually, they don't always ask your parents to leave. A year or two ago, I had appendicitis and was at the hospital. The doctor would ask me all these personal questions in front of my parents, and had me take my shirt off to get checked and everything without asking them to leave. Really uncomfortable.
Like I always say, "Like father like son"
#23 - On 02/22/2009 at 7:41am by Tonno
If you are old enough to have sex then you are old enough to go to the doctors alone.
#24 - On 02/22/2009 at 8:12am by Marty
(0)NEVER let your parents in when going in to the doctor.
They'll embarrass the living hell out of you. :/
That was kinda funny.
#26 - On 02/22/2009 at 11:05am by Trees
Two things: first off, masturbation IS sexual activity from a medical perspective (someone already commented saying that, and they're right). Second, if you're about to get surgery, then both parents probably WOULD be in the room while your doctor is talking to you. Happened to me.

hahahahahhhahhaha
#28 - On 02/22/2009 at 12:45pm by jyhjghj
(0)#5, parents are in the room, and usually if the patient says no, they'll ask the parents to leave and ask the questions again. so it is possible.
(0)oh dayum. =(
(0)ahaha your parents sound awesome.
Next time though, ask them to leave before the doctor asks you personal questions.
are you kidding? who goes in there with their parents at any age above 14?

(0)omg!!!!!!!!!!
(0)Are you sure you are active? ^^
I don't know... this actually could be real...
My doctor was a friend of my grandfather... so my Mother would always go in the room with me to say "hello." He asked me that exact question with her in the same room until I was old enough to drive myself to the doctor. I didn't get my license until I was 17 -- I lied to my doctor for almost 2 years. So hey, you never know.
#37 - On 02/23/2009 at 2:43am by elle
REALLY, #18?
at ten years old, you walked or took the bus or rode your bike, or maybe took your scooter, all the way to the doctor's office, then filled out all the paperwork by yourself (which i think wouldn't be legally binding, and they therefore wouldn't let you do it).
your stupid comment is worse than this fake fml.
#38 - On 02/23/2009 at 10:58am by youfckingidiot
why are your parents there with you?
#39 - On 02/23/2009 at 4:04pm by hahahaa
Dude. Tell your parents to just shut the fuck up.
And why the bloody hell are they in there with you??? If you're old enough to have sex, I think you're old enough to go to see the doctor by yourself.
#40 - On 02/23/2009 at 10:19pm by ihavetofart
(0)AHAHAHHAHAHHA GOD DAMNNNN!
what are you, 14? why would you ever talk to the doctor with your parents in the room? no doctor would ever ask that in front of your parents. i'm calling BS on this one.
#42 - On 02/24/2009 at 3:55pm by NOT15
Your dad is fucking hilarious!
#43 - On 02/24/2009 at 5:09pm by Sally
Why would you have your parents in the doctor's office with you? A good doctor would suggest that a potentially sexually active young person would come in by themselves, unless your parents insist and you are under 18. Which is still weird. Also I hope from the story that you are male, otherwise the comment from your dad is scary. Finally, in regards to what AliSama said, NO masturbation does NOT count as sexually active from a medical point of view. Most likely they are asking to know if they need to check for STDs. You don't get those from masturbation.
#44 - On 02/24/2009 at 6:32pm by umm
This is hilarious.
I don't even curr what you all say.
I love you're dad, fake or not. hahahaaa
#45 - On 02/25/2009 at 6:49pm by Kenya
No offense, but your dad's comment was freaking hilarious!!! I can imagine me saying that to my daughter at her physical LMAO.
#46 - On 02/26/2009 at 4:27am by SpaceJockey1979
sit on your hands until they go numb.... then call it a stranger
#47 - On 02/26/2009 at 12:38pm by huh?
(0)Sounds like it could be fake because of the whole both parents thing, but if I had cancer or were about to get surgery (like 27 said), I'd want both of my parents there. When I had surgery my parents were both there.
#48 - On 02/26/2009 at 4:41pm by dickinabox
ahahah
that's really funny

(0)LMAO. WORD. This IS, sadly funny. ><
(0)i bet that this isn't even the start of embarrassing moments they cause for you...
(0)im sorry but thats really hilarious...props for posting this haha
(0)Go by yourself if you can next time. Your parents shouldn't have to be in there with you.
(0)How old are you? I mean really why the hell were your parents even there with you?
(0)My mom always stays inside the dam room when im at the doctors even if i want her to get out, its annoying, but im 13
(0)My mom always stays inside the dam room when im at the doctors even if i want her to get out, its annoying, but im 13
(0)Hmmmm... Doesn't the doc ask for your parents to leave before asking questions like that? Mine does...
#59 - On 04/30/2009 at 12:21am by KristelDreams
(+1)if you are old enough for the doctor to even think about asking if you are sexually active your parents shouldnt need to be in the room with you
the doctor makes my mom sit in the waiting room cuz she thinks ill lie if my mom is there
(0)lmao...that fucken funni but messed
(0)don't go in the Doctor's room with your mom! but what the doctor said was kinda inappropriate, still funny though.
(0)I've had my mom in there and I demanded that she leave and she would simply refuse.... She doesn't have a lot of respect for my wishes... Really pisses me off
(0)i went to the doctor with both my parents in the room... when i was 9 years old.
(0)Hahahahahahaha
(0)i could see the parents being in there for the previous (and non-personal) questions, this happened to me with my mom but she left once the doctor started asking those cause she could tell i wasn't comfortable with her there
(0)LOL
(0)PWNED
(0)I have to say this but BURNNNN! Sorry about what your dad said...your life is effed.
[im new to fml]
(0)in the film, your dad will be played by jk simmons =)
(0)Calm down people. If this were a true FML, then he's most likely be a minor which would explain why the parents were there If not, then yeah, you're retarded.
(0)hahaha
(0)If you really are old enough (and thus mature enough) to be having sex, then you shouldn't need your parents to come to your doctor's appointments with you.
Even if you are a minor, you should be mature enough to leave mommy and daddy in the waiting room while you talk to the scary grown up with the stethoscope.
