Today, I woke up in a complete daze. It took me a few minutes to realize what had happened. Apparently my sleepwalking problems have returned, only this time I managed to overdose myself with Nyquil. As a result, I slept for fourteen hours, wet my sheets and lost my job. FML

She obviously took the nyquil while sleepwalking! My friend's dad eats while sleepwalking all the time. It's hilarious. He eats really weird thinks like pickles dipped in margarine or still-frozen corn dogs.

I sleep for about that if left to my own devices but I don't take sleeping stuff so have no idea if this"overdose" is good or bad.

I read somewhere that dudes fair better if they have a sleeping schedule (a constant set bed time and wake time), whereas women fair better if they are allowed to sleep as they wish, waking themselves rather than setting alarms or someone else waking them. Kinda odd...
But, anyway, it's not really a good idea... though I'm sure even if you're a chick it's a problem if it's 14 hours. That's too much sleep.
Also consider that you're a young teen. Sleeping long is easy for you, but if OP is an adult (beyond the lower 20s) then sleeping long isn't so easy.
Also consider that if OP is sleepwalking, likely (s)he doesn't sleep easy in the first place, so overdose can be what kept him/her out, especially if (s)he pissed him/herself.
Aaaand, yeah, probably OP found evidence of what happened and assumed.

actually it is only not easy for people over 20 because of lifestyle. i maintain my old lifestyle, so i have no difficulty sleeping for ages :D

What do you mean 'with out your eyes'? I do crazy things in my sleep. Change clothes, clean, do laundry, rearange things. So apparently sleepwalkers do use their eyes.

Nah I don't say fake. If you don't show up and don't call to explain why there's bound to be consequences meaning being fired. My boyfriend sort of sleep walks mostly sleep talk it's pretty funny but sleep walking must suck sometimes

Yeah that suck, but it can totally happen, I have turned off my alarm clock sleep walking, I have shutdown my computer, I have even turned off my stereo before. Sleep walking is more a state of unconscious awareness than sleep, that is usually followed by amnesia from the event and this case some nasty surprises.

Can sleepwalkers easily open a childproof cap? I just can't imagine someone opening it that easily in that state of consciousness.

Sleepwalkers can make all motions that they regularly make, so it's possible to open a childproof cap while sleepwalking if you're used to opening childproof caps.

that sucks. similar thing happened to someone i know. he sleepwalks every once in a while but the other day he went to sleep with his phone on his desk and woke up the next morning with it on the end of his bed-with the screen shattered. has no idea what happened to it.

HA! mine is worse.
imagine a small hallway. on the left ; a bathroom. on the right ; stairs.
try sleep walking, turning the wrong way, falling down the stairs and breaking your leg. theres my life! (:
oh, and its an old house, and there is a sliding door that comes out of the wall to close the entrance to the stairs.
lets just say we use that now!!

The last time I slept walk was 4 years ago. I had walked in the kitchen, I was talking to my mother n i peed in the trash bin n went back to bed... I dint remember doing that... I woke up with print lines on my butt n my mother n aunt was too busy laughing while telling me
