Being in the bridal party sucks anyway, this way you can get blind drunk at the reception, and dance innapropriately, and then when no ones paying attention, lead the new brides maid over to the cake, and get her/him to eat it. Who would have been the better brides maid then hey?
At least the groom won't be caught having a quickie with the bridesmaid..... or if he does then write it in here. That would be a real FML for your mother! :-P

ya but the dog can't give out speech and carry her train or her bouquet or whatever the hell it is a bridesmaid does. he/she/it can only carry the ring (maybe). so you're still gonna end up doing all the dirty bridesmaid work, without the title, and the dog gets the credit (and maybe the dress too). cool. i agree your life is pretty much fucked.

Yea same thing happened to me kinda, except it was my sister. Before she ever met the guy we had talked about how I would always be in her wedding. Turns out, the wedding day comes up and I'm mysteriously not in her wedding. What makes it even better is that her lame ass husbands friends didn't even want to be in the wedding and meanwhile while they were looking for another groomsman because his friends were so unpredictable, I was still out of the question. :/
