Man or woman?

Today, my girlfriend's dad chased me with a baseball bat because he found a pair of my boxers in her room. They were not there because I left them there, they were there because she stole them. FML

I agree, your life sucks (33019) - you totally deserved it (1477)

i can understand that girls want to wear their boys clothes, but i mean boxers?... wft? i was completely fine with his hoodie. and how sick the girl has to be to steal her guys boxers?... i'd say very.

#33 - On 07/20/2009 at 9:58am by beritis

I dont think it's sick.. My old roommate used to wear her bf's boxers and basketball shorts home whenever she slept @ his place, and loved them bc they are quite comfortable..

#36 - On 07/20/2009 at 10:28am by lexiBRo

I used too wear my bf's boxers till my mom found them and that was the end...I also used too wear his muscle shirt when I got wet and his shirt was dry and I used too wear his Sasuke shirt...for a test I would wear his coat, shirt, ring, and boxers too give me luck XD OH I also wear his ring, and his coat :D

#42 - On 07/20/2009 at 11:20am by BBGood

i wear my boyfriends boxers.
its usually when i'm over there with no pajamas and we want to take a nap.
its not weird at all.
they are really comfy. xD

#50 - On 07/20/2009 at 12:56pm by kimstarrr

okay i get it, they're extremely comfortable! even i wear boxers, and i'm a girl. the point of the FML is that she STOLE his boxers. He didn't leave them behind, SHE TOOK THEM. thats creepy. whose to say she doesn't sniff them? lol.

#63 - On 07/21/2009 at 12:21am by picky_and_bitter

Sucks for you, I guess she wanted a trophy of your amazing performance?

#2 - On 07/20/2009 at 6:06am by zidane312

Well, now I know not to do that to my boyfriend. I am so sorry, but this is funny xD. Padlock your underwear drawer next time?

#3 - On 07/20/2009 at 6:10am by Darth_Taco

Better then mine, marine sniper, he showed all his guns and target practices to my now fiance, then waited for us to get home. we were 5 mins later and my dad cocked the pistol and told him that he had 5 mins to get off the property my fiance actually shit himself for it too.

#4 - On 07/20/2009 at 6:12am by Taydiane

Pathetic. Not the marine sniper thing, that's commendable. The over-protective, over aggressive thing. Especially towards a daughter who's old enough to get married and therefor old enough to make her own decisions. Absolutely unforgivable.

#9 - On 07/20/2009 at 6:32am by Misosoup

Chances are they are bad decisions. It is better for parents to err on the side of caution if their children are marginally "adult". Being 18 does not make you automatically responsible... just allows you to shoot the enemy and vote.

#24 - On 07/20/2009 at 8:24am by FarSide

Being cautious is not pointing a gun, albeit probably not loaded, at your son-in-law to be for breaking a curfew by five minutes. Nor is it chasing someone with a baseball bat over a pair of underpants. Even if they WERE having sex, that would not be the proper response. That's excessive aggression in retaliation to a completely undeserving act. How can you tell her decisions are bad, and how do bad decisions warrant pointing a pistol in someone's face?

#28 - On 07/20/2009 at 8:50am by Misosoup

I thought this was all really funny, but then I realised that not only would my dad do the same (and probably will) but being 6 foot something, he would actually hit the guy and some of my also 6 foot something cousins and uncles would join him. Thank God they dont have any special training like the marine sniper.

#30 - On 07/20/2009 at 9:43am by Latina

lol, well the only time i've taken a guy's boxers is after we slept together, so i'd say her dad still has a right to be angry. unless your g/f went through your drawers and stole a pair without you knowing.

#5 - On 07/20/2009 at 6:13am by heyyou1203

yeah, I agree... girls normally wear a guy's boxers after they have slept together or she spent the night @ your place..they don't normally steal them out of your room when you aren't looking so maybe your gf's dad had a reason to be angry..

#37 - On 07/20/2009 at 10:31am by lexiBRo

Dump her ass. The best solution to any relationship problem.

Do it. Now!

#6 - On 07/20/2009 at 6:15am by dyld921

agreed

#19 - On 07/20/2009 at 7:47am by zidane312

It could be worse. They could be some other guys boxers.

#7 - On 07/20/2009 at 6:19am by my_fml_account

That was my initial reaction to this. I mean, it is pretty weird but, it could be much worse.

#40 - On 07/20/2009 at 10:37am by genius_man16

You could say this about any FML. Any FML could be worse than what was posted, seriously, just take it for what it is. He got chased for something that wasn't his fault.

#43 - On 07/20/2009 at 11:36am by seb12992

awww poor cookie!

#8 - On 07/20/2009 at 6:21am by fuckmebitch

How did they know they were yours? I know several girls who buy men's boxers, even ones big enough to fit their boyfriends.

Crazy dads are crazy dads though. I don't know many guys that would leave their boxers though. It's not quite the same thing as a girl leaving her underwear at her boyfriends house.

#10 - On 07/20/2009 at 6:34am by redbluegreen

So basically ... she sneaked into your room or you had let her in before?

#12 - On 07/20/2009 at 6:50am by RitzyHoke

I call BS here. How could he tell they were yours? Your name is Calvin, right?

#14 - On 07/20/2009 at 7:02am by bluenote

Easy, dad jumped to a conclusion that just so happened to be correct this time. He finds boxers in his daughters room, knows his daughter has a bf, so it easy to assume that they are her bf...

#15 - On 07/20/2009 at 7:07am by Pastor_Rich

How about you gtfo and/or stfu before you give us normal Christians a worse image? No one cares if you disagree with sex before marriage; most religions do. Honestly, some Christians have no common sense!

#45 - On 07/20/2009 at 12:14pm by DrunkIrishman

What is wrong with some people?! Even if you're technically too young to be having a sexual relationship that's such a messed up way to respond... seriously he should be in a home or something!

You should have just stood there when he came at you with the bat, that way he either has to hit you and then you can sue him, or he just has to stop right in front of you and look an idiot.

#16 - On 07/20/2009 at 7:12am by atomicmrpelly

I doubt he's to young. In Ontario the legal sex age is 14. So unless he's a 12 year old kid there is nothing wrong with him and his girlfriend being sexually active. But being chased around with a bat might be a little to much. I would of picked up the heaviest thing i saw and threw it at his head. Or I'd probably be to scared shitting myself cause we should all know that being chased around by a guy who is over protective of his daughter with a fucking base ball bat is some scary shit.

#35 - On 07/20/2009 at 10:24am by Ryder556

How would you feel if your, say, 12 year old daughter was getting banged by some other guy? Even 17 year old? I mean, she's still your responsibility and having sex with some guy who more likely than not isn't responsible enough to carry the relationship through, and is probably just in it for the pussy. If she's in her 20s or something, then yeah, her dad is overreacting. But otherwise, I think he's just trying to scare the shit out of the boyfriend so he doesn't try and of that crap again with his daughter. I know the boxers weren't left there, but still, it's how a normal father should react.

#48 - On 07/20/2009 at 12:28pm by DrunkIrishman

I can see being concerned if your daughter is 12, but 17? That's almost an adult and a bit much, don't you think? That and the fact that people have sex. It's a part of human nature and people are gonna do it regardless of what their parents say.

#52 - On 07/20/2009 at 1:36pm by Molise

Nah, I know. It's true. But if you tell your parents that, especially this guy... well, good luck. It doesn't quite work like that. 17 year olds aren't adults; 18 year olds barely are even better. I guess it varies from case to case, but most of my peers -which happen to be 16, 17, and 18 year olds- shouldn't be having sex with their maturity level, but they do anyways. I have a more conservative view on sex and such, and it's probably fairly obvious. Just, I know that if/when I am a father, and the same case presented itself, I'd be glad to inherit my dad's collection of guns. Not gonna use them, just gonna scare the shit out of him. I wouldn't want my daughter thrown around like a common whore (no offense to anyone); if she thinks she can handle a sex life without "daddy's" protection, then, in all honesty, I won't be her legal guardian anymore. I'll be her father, yes; but I won't be funding her anymore unless it's dire.

BE MY BABY'S DADDY!

Jk, Jk.
But, you sound like a really sweet guy :)

#55 - On 07/20/2009 at 2:53pm by shesellseashells

Actually, in Canada, the age of consent is 16, but with close in age exemptions for youths 14 and 15 years old, who can consent to people

#56 - On 07/20/2009 at 3:17pm by I_Deserved_It

So at first I read "My dad's girlfriend..." and ...it was just a completely different, very strange situation in my head lol.

But yeah FYL. I will never understand the psycho dad thing. I'm an only child and very much "Daddy's little girl", but my dad was always the kind of guy who trusts their kid's decision and is just happy their kid is happy. Guess I just got lucky :)

#17 - On 07/20/2009 at 7:29am by ihatestupidppl

Put yourself in his situation, what would your mom think if she found some G string in your laundry?

Lets just hope it was a clean pair, and not the ones you jizzed in.

#18 - On 07/20/2009 at 7:42am by buckweat420

That's kinda creepy....

#20 - On 07/20/2009 at 7:53am by FuzzyWalnuts

She likes to sniff your sweaty semen stained boxers.

Uh get your pops to do the same, get a gstring and put it in an obvious place!

#38 - On 07/20/2009 at 10:33am by emcue786

freaky girlfriend, better to breakup

#41 - On 07/20/2009 at 10:39am by laomaostu

Why? I actually would find that kind of cute and funny. It's just for fun. Nothing creepy there; not really. If she truly is a creeper that likes the smell of your skidmarks/cum left over in your boxers, then yeah, that's when you dump her. Otherwise, it's just to be a tease.

#49 - On 07/20/2009 at 12:42pm by DrunkIrishman

Abbabahahah I just pictured that
XD

#44 - On 07/20/2009 at 11:53am by irrelevantxx

Ya know, its not weird to "steal" your boyfriend's boxers. Its a very common thing in my high school actually. Some girls even steal their guy friend's boxers. Nothing sexual about it. Its just fun.

OP: That sucks, talk to your girlfriend about her crazy, over-protective dad :/

#46 - On 07/20/2009 at 12:19pm by Sun_Kissed18

lol my girlfriend takes all of my clothes also:P but your girlfriends dad is a psycho.

#51 - On 07/20/2009 at 1:08pm by Xrailer

i don't know what's worse, the fact that your girlfriend steals your boxers or that her dad got the wrong idea and chased you with a bat.

#53 - On 07/20/2009 at 1:50pm by triplethreat13

I think the bat part is definitely worse lol. At least no physical harm could come to him from his gf stealing his undies.

#57 - On 07/20/2009 at 3:17pm by ihatestupidppl

Why would she do that? Even if you were sleeping together in her room and left them there, a baseball bat? One, his daughter is equally as responsible and two that's psycho.

#58 - On 07/20/2009 at 3:29pm by cobra1

definately know the feeling

#59 - On 07/20/2009 at 3:51pm by QuentinM95

she should just not wear you're boxers at all, make her go naked. Unless shes not hot.

#60 - On 07/20/2009 at 5:58pm by ForTheFuckingWin

LOL my bf let me borrow his before. their so fuckin comfortable

#61 - On 07/20/2009 at 6:16pm by ashley_sparklez

You all are so immatue I bet none of you know what it's like to find out your daugter isn't a virgin. Come on you just don't get it your all just kids

#62 - On 07/20/2009 at 8:17pm by oogyboogy

You condone the OP's dad resorting to physical violence? I guess in your world, a teenager having sex with someone they love and are in a relationship with is far worse than attacking someone with a bat.

A man in a town near me just died from being punched in the face. Yeah, that shit can happen with senseless violence like this. I don't think murder charges and a dead teenager are worth being a possessive asshole father. You don't own your daughter's virginity and body, or anyone else's. It's not the middle ages where you'd be trading her off like a piece of property for a marriage/business deal.

Also, you're going to say that, I sure hope that means you would chase a girl around with a baseball bat too if you found her panties in your son's room. Because if not, you're sexist on top of being overreactive, prudish, and in support of violence.

#64 - On 07/21/2009 at 2:01am by jnic

And here I was thinking canadians were a easy going bunch..

Guess not

PS: He'd kill you for sex with his daughter? Sounds like a relegious thing..

#65 - On 07/21/2009 at 2:34am by Shanratt

The punch thing is kinda weird, but I agree 100% with the rest :)

#66 - On 07/21/2009 at 2:36am by Shanratt

Hey, I think you meant to reply to my comment? I brought up the punching thing to show how even what's seen as very typical and common violence (punching someone in the face OR chasing this guy with a bat) can end up far worse than most people expect it to.

#68 - On 07/21/2009 at 3:51am by jnic

maybe he wanted you to pitch to him instead of his daughter

#67 - On 07/21/2009 at 3:08am by nodbor

Your girlfriend stole your boxers? That's an FML right there. Creepy. . .

#69 - On 07/21/2009 at 6:49am by lesp

All the FMLs involving someone "forgetting" or "leaving" their underwear somewhere boggle me.
How do you forget them? You have to put them back on! I mean, you don't HAVE to, but to me it seems like the normal thing to do, considering you wore them to begin with. If you like the whole comando thing, you wouldn't have worn them to begin with... Unless you're trying to give someone a reminder or something? That's just sort of creepy.

Anyways, her dad is dumb. Why would you leave your boxers over there? You wouldn't forget to put them on and you probably wouldn't give them to her as a present if she lives with her over-protective dad.
FYL.

#74 - On 07/26/2009 at 1:13am by _bbailey

YDI for letting your girlfriend's dad own a baseball bat.

#75 - On 07/31/2009 at 6:27pm by Hyozanryu

my dad would do that...he threatened my first bf (NO sexual relations with, btw) with a chainsaw. :S needless to say, he didn't like my dad :P anyways my dads been a bit better lately with my other boyfriends, but if he found out about any sex, I'm sure it wouldn't just be a threat D:
