Only get ink in a shop. It may be cheaper to get it done at someone's house, including your own, but you get what you pay for, and sterile tools and a proper artist are worth the price.
You should NEVER have done that. Only go to a reputable shop to get it done. I spent months researching shops/artists before I got mine and it paid off, I love how it came out. There's no excuse in this day and age, the Internet is a great tool for stuff like this. If you didn't have the cash for it, save up and wait. You'll be lucky if a bad tattoo is all you got after that.
