Today, I returned from a 5-day cruise for my senior spring break, filled with gorgeous sorority girls from all over the country. I was seasick the whole time. FML

Today, I boarded my very first cruise, in order to relax and unwind for week-long vacation. However, when I got on the ship, I found out that I get seasick REALLY easily. FML
Today, it's day two of my two-month summer job on a Mediterranean cruise ship. I'm incredibly seasick, and the ship is still docked. FML
Today, I found out that my most amazing spring break ever, will be spent stuck on a ship with my ex. It's been almost two years, and he still isn't over me. Yay. This cruise shall be fun. FML
Today, I overcame my debilitating seasickness long enough to have a shower and take a breath of fresh air on the cruise ship balcony. Then as a reward, a passing seagull shat on my head. FML
Today, I'm on spring break on a tropical island, visiting family I hadn't seen in years. They invited me out to eat, and won't take no for an answer. All of this would be wonderful, if it weren't for the fact that I've been vomiting to the point of expelling bile and dry heaving for the last two days. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I went on a 1 day cruise to the Bahamas. It happened to be on the same day of the worst sailing conditions. We spent 6 hours throwing up together. Him into the sink, and me into the toilet. We spent $200 to see the inside of our cabin's bathroom. FML
Today, during a boat trip with my boyfriend's family, I got seasick and went to the side of the boat to puke. A current rocked the boat so badly that I fell overboard, prompting a panicked rescue and my boyfriend's mom muttering that I'm a pathetic attention whore. FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me. We are on a cruise together. She has already found another room to sleep in. FML
Today, I was dumped by my boyfriend. We're currently sharing a room on a cruise ship. FML
Today, after an 8-month wait, I went on my big vacation. The beach, the sea, the dive, the jellyfish, the allergic reaction, the hospital. FML

Yeah, and those pills you mentioned don't work on people with extremely sensitive inner ears. I can't ever go on a boat, big or small. I can't even swing without getting sick. It sucks! I feel OP's pain.

14 - I'm the same way, and I've found that the patches that go behind your ear work well for me. No idea why, but even the prescription pills don't work for me. I even get motion sickness while driving.

This doesn't have to do with the ears only. It could be olfactory and autoimmune. So whether or not you take medication, you still have a high chance of feeling "seasick".

Couldn't you have taken Dramamine? It may not work for everyone, but it definitely helped me on my cruises.

Yeah, yeah blame it on the seasickness... Anyways, damn OP that sucks but as other already said, you could have gotten pills. Perhaps they even had them on board. But I doubt that'll make you feel better.
