Today, I paid for $60 haircut from a professional stylist. I look like Spock from Star Trek. The worst part was that during the stylist asked me, "Hey, are you going to go see that new Star Trek movie?" Now wherever I go people are giving me the 'live long in prosper' sign. FML

Also, I just had my hair washed, cut and styled (blown out) two weeks ago and it cost me $30, so buzz off to all of you who are saying that it's outrageous to have paid that much to have his/her hair cut. If you get your hair cut for like $10 you must go to your mother cause I don't know anywhere where I can get a wash & a cut for that. The cheapest is like $15 before taxes and that's at "Firts Choice Haircutters". If you care about your hair just like the rest of your body, you'll pay the money to have it properly done.

If you explain it properly, they get it. My new hairstylist Kyra, all I had to do was tell her I wanted it thinned and trimmed, and she did an AMAZING job, she threw in layers, and showed me the best way to style it. If you care about your hair, which you obviously do for paying 60 bucks, you WOULD pay that much. I pay way more for my haircuts, I pay AT LEAST 60. I never go to the hair stores(?) that are like next to Walgreens or whatever. And usually they ask you what you want, but then they'll take it into there own hands and everything, and do extra things. (0)The guy could have just pretended that he's a huge Star Trek fan and say he wanted to get the haircut for the movie or something. I've never payed for than $20 bucks for a haircut plus shampoo. Usually when I do get a haircut I really don't like it when I look in the mirror but when I get home I do like it, you usually just have to give it time. However, had I been given a haircut that had me resembling spock, then I wouldn't have paid or I would have gotten a refund.

To all you dumbasses above, you have to pay for the haircut or else you would get sued. Also, it's not very unlikely that you would pay $60 for a haircut. It might be just because I come from a rich town, but I usually pay $50-$80 for my haircuts...and I'm only 12.
But I agree, you should've said you didn't like it and told him that you aren't paying for it. If he told you that you HAD to pay for it, which would be most likely, then you would pay and never go back there again. Also, you should've let him know that you would never go back and you are telling all of your friends to not go there. Make him know you are upset!

(0)#204, one minute you're saying that you "have to pay" or else you'll get sued, then the next you're saying that he should have told him he wasn't paying. You won't get sued for not paying for the haircut you asked for. ESPECIALLY if you don't like the do' they gave you. If he made it very clear that he did't like it, it wasn't what he wanted, and he wasn't paying, they're not going to MAKE you pay. So it's not "most likely" that he'll make him pay. And I seriously doubt that you pay for your haircuts. I'm 19, and when my mom tells me she's taking me to get my hair cut, she still pays, but only because she insists.
And you're only twelve, should you really go around calling people dumbasses? I didn't use that language when I was twelve, and I rarely do right now.

(0)I dunno, maybe it's cause most of you live in the States, but $60 for a haircut is pretty reasonable here in Aus. I used to get a lot of cheap hair cuts and I was never satisfied. I've now found a brilliant place that has done my hair exactly how I wanted twice, and I pay about $120 to get it done.

(0)Actually, alot of the kids that come around our house are respectful. Same with when I go over to somebody elses house. Many kids in MY neighbour hood at least, are very respectful.
I don't go to supercuts, my hairstylist is a good 6 times more expensive then a supercuts, and when I don't like the haircut, I make it very clear that I'm disappointed, and she lets me leave without paying.
I don't ask my mom to pay for my haircuts, I drop by the house and she "surprises" me with a trip to my stylist, whether it be a dye job or a cut.
I do go to college, I have a job, which is how I can afford my car, and rent for my house. And btw, I'm a female, and I do have a boyfriend. I like how you assume that I don't go to college, and I really don't see why that should matter, how I don't have a "girlfriend" and how I have no job because my mom decides to be nice and take me for a haircut.
And please tell me where I "dissed" a twelve year old.
