I definitely like Star Wars, but I wouldn't want to date someone who was obsessed with it. I can't quite tell if you are though. Understandable she is your ex if you guys don't share the same interests, but she didn't have to be a bitch. She could have just ignored the text.

It's okay, she's an idiot and wasn't for you. Someone who loves Star Wars just can't be with someone who hates it. You'd think it would work, but my ex-bf hated Star Wars and would go off on me every time it came up. Not even for me bringing it up, but if there just happened to be an ad on TV or if he found a Star Wars book in my room, or if my dad mentioned we'd watched Star Wars that weekend. It was a harmless text and your ex could have just let it go, but I think her response indicates she's a bitch who has some issues.

good tip: as soon as you break up, remove her number from your book. If you can't for some reason, remove the first digit of the area code so you can add it back. Accidents like that sucks.

I'm a chick and I enjoy Star Wars (but I'm more of an X-Men fan to tell you the truth), I grew up with Star Wars. Your ex just isn't cool enough to appreciate such a classic. I would totally go out with someone like you because star wars nerds (but hopefully not the SUPER obsessed kind) or geeks in general are usually sweet and have an amazing sense of humor which is really important to me when looking for a guy.
