Man or woman?

Today, I was working my shift and my ex girlfriend came in to apply for a job. She broke up with me for another guy so i can't stand being in the same room as her. The manager talked to her and decided to hire her on the spot. I need to train her. FML

I'm sorry you're in such an awkward situation. Just be really mature about it, treat her like she's just an old acquaintance. Be polite and ask how her family is doing (assuming that you'd ever met them) and then just be professional and train her to the best of your abilities. If she starts being a bitch or talking about things that upset you just say that your job is important to you so you'd appreciate it if she was professional and made life easier for the both of you. Then you look like a bigger person and working with her shouldn't be too hard. Try and keep in mind that there's a reason you two aren't together and try not to let the past hurt you. Good luck!
