Or... tell him you're only really attracted to guys in the army. Maybe he'll take that as a hint and enlist. At least then you won't have to see him while he's in basic training, and if you're lucky he'll get deployed and you won't have to see him for years.

And the silver lining: you'll be helping the armed services by increasing the available troops (only by one, but every little bit helps!)
