Today, I looked through my girlfriend's phone book and saw two entries with my name. One had "(cute)" attached to it. I checked to see if it was my number. It wasn't. FML

He could have come across it while looking for someone else's number. If she willingly gave him her phone, I doubt she had evidence of cheating on it, so it's probably harmless.
If he came across it while snooping, YDI, and it's probably still harmless. No, I don't have a double standard because I think it's wrong for males or females to snoop through their SO's private affairs. I don't do that, and I'm a female, so this "girls do it ALL the time" nonsense really means "the kind of girls that I choose to associate with do it ALL the time!". As long as she wasn't looking through his things, then there's no double standard to say that he shouldn't be looking through hers.
every time i read something like this I think "they deserve it" simply because if you're with someone who treats you poorly it's your fault for putting up with it or getting into a relationship before you realize how shitty that person is.
