Today, I came home to find my fiancé trying to do laundry. His version was "rubbing the smelly spots with baby powder". Looks like I'll be the only one doing laundry for the rest of our lives. FML

Same thing different taste
Today, my boyfriend did the washing as an attempt to help me. Not only are all my clothes now pink, he refuses to do the dishes, vacuuming, bathroom, ironing etc., as he has done "plenty." FML
Skids
Today, I walked into my house with a couple of friends and I saw my girlfriend doing laundry. I jokingly asked her if she had time to do a load of mine as well. She scoffed and said, "Yeah babe, I'll gladly do your laundry… The same day you learn to wipe properly." FML
Self-centered
Today, I asked my SO for help with just the laundry, which translated into him only washing his clothes. We're married with multiple kids, and I currently work 2 jobs. FML
Skidmarks
Today, while doing my boyfriend's laundry, I noticed that every single pair of his boxers had a poop smear in them. He's almost 30. FML
Thanks for the help
Today, I went to gather the laundry out of the dryer. My daughter had seen my wife put bleach in the washer, so she decided that honey in the dryer would make the clothes smell sweet. She wasn't wrong, but now I have a giant ball of sticky socks and underwear. FML
Today, after recently breaking up with my boyfriend, I unknowingly washed my laundry using his washing tabs. My whole wardrobe now smells like my ex. FML
Today, my husband finally decided to help with the laundry. He washed a pen and it exploded in the dryer. FML
Deep clean
Today, my husband decided to drain his motorcycle oil into an empty bottle of laundry detergent. Also today, I decided to lift a stain out of my white comforter with some detergent I found in the garage. FML
Today, my husband decided to be helpful and do all the laundry, including pre-treating all the stains. He felt that Clorox Clean-Up with Bleach would be the most effective. FML
Fungus
Today, I walked in the bathroom and smelled a disgusting cheesy smell. I looked at the tub and my boyfriend was furiously scrubbing under his toenails with a nail brush. FML

I hope he showers and doesn't use the same method on himself.

Good thing you didn't come home ten minutes earlier and find him manually flushing the shower.

I think the question is why the OP has powdered babies in their house.

I found half of the time people do stuff this stupid isn't because they need to be taught. They want to scare everyone off from ever asking them to do that chore again.

74- That was my little brother's method for getting out of doing literally anything. Dishes, laundry, mowing the lawn... Just do it so badly and completely ignore all attempts at teaching that they give up! As a result of that and my own very over active conscience, I ended up doing all of the domestic stuff at a young age. You probably don't find too many 12 year olds these days who came home from school and did laundry and prepared dinner while doing homework...

@87 Sounds like my little brother, he can never seem to do his jobs right, he either forgets to do them or he screws up.

Wait, that doesn't work?

No wonder people look at me weird when I go out somewhere!

If I were him I would've done that on purpose to get out of laundry

Don't be fooled. This man knows exactly how to do laundry. But by acting like he's a complete screw-up, he made you worry about it, so now you're doing it yourself to make sure it gets done right, forever. This man is brilliant.

Men are stupid. Some of them have some common sense though, unfortunately, that's not so in your case. He seems like an idiot, and I really hope he showers like a normal person otherwise you are going to be living in Stinkville, population you, mr. Smelly - the mayor and all your walking furniture that will soon abandon you.
