Tell 'em it's not abuse; if need be, tell them what actually happened. Why not. It's not a crime, it's your choice. If they seem shocked, screw them. Metaphorically.
So during your speech, the audience sees a person speaking about domestic violence, who was possibly a victim of domestic violence herself. Might as well make it work.

Wow #14 how old are you? Have you ever had sex before? Its not rape if the participants are willing, no matter how aggressive the sex is.
Nothing wrong with a little rough passionate sex...especially to release some stress before a big speech. ;) Also how did she deserve this? Ok yeah so she allowed her self to get hickies, so what? You should be enjoying sex and getting wrapped up in the moment instead of thinking about what you have to do tomorrow and saying "Oh watch it honey I have a big report tomorrow." Hell, some of the most passionate and enjoyable sex Ive ever had with my boyfriend has resulted one or both of us looking like we were repeatedly punched in the neck.

I'd bring him with you and show off how much damage you did... the last time I had rough sex with a girl she did ten times the damage to me that I did to her. To be fair, before we started she asked me "are you SURE you want it rough?" I said yes and got exactly what I deserved ;)
I probably wouldn't talk about where the bruises came from. Abuse and DV can leave quite traumatic marks on ppl. As such, they may not take your nonchalant mentioning of "rough sex" so well. Turtlenecks work well. Try foundation and concealer also. If you still can't conceal them, just don't say anything. You could have fallen off a tree for all they know.

B. Is a victim of domestic violence,
not ALL bruises necessarily have a malevolent back story.

drastic situations require drastic solutions- instead of covering it all up with make up i say you emphasize it. then talk about all the pros of domestic violence like a) at least your spending time with your spouse b) hair doesnt grow on bruises...its safer than bleaching your face! c) without the sour... it just ain't as sweet. Then close the speech up by slapping the front row in the face.
