Thuryn, (187, etc), obviously there are consequences to every action. However, some of those consequences are the result of a sexist/racist/homophobic/etc society. If I drive recklessly and get into an accident, of course that's my fault and I should own up to it. But when I walk in the business district of NYC and get cat called while wearing professional attire (as well as almost everywhere else), yea I expect it to happen but that doesn't make it right.

Water may be wet alright, and sure we can bring umbrellas to stay dry when it rains even though you're still going to feel damp and crappy by the time you get home.
