Sorry sweaty

Today, I discovered a drawer full of chocolates, cookies and baked goods in my house. When I asked my sister what the drawer was, she told me that my mom thought it would be a good idea to hide the fattening foods from me. My entire family had known about the food drawer, except me. FML

They may think they're being "caring", but all I'm hearing is "insensitive". If they cared so much then why is the stuff being brought into the house at all? Or at least left/stored in an area where the poster could stumble across it? That's just f**ked.

#4, thats funny as hell. As for the poster, I know how that is. I was 285 in HS, got down to 185 in college and am back up 215, trying to lose weight now. Weight is a tough battle.

Fat ass, your own family resorts to this? Stop snacking start exercising; and look at it constructively

the exact same thing happened to me when I lived at home! I've been living on my own for 2 years now but every time I go back I can find the junk food one day and then the next it has mysteriously vanished. I called my mom out on it and she said it's for my own good because I'm trying to lose weight. It sucks because they don't trust you or your will power :-P

Maybe you should stop eating and/or pay for your own food.

I agree, you can be as fat or as thin as you want - but prepare that people will judge you about it. And same applies for the anorexically skinny ones - its not like any kind of distinction goes unnoticable. C'est la vie, unfortunately. You should stop taking offence either way.

Get on a treadmill and start running, stop eating crap, you'll feel a ton better about yourself in a month, I guarantee it.
