Today, my mom tells my sister that she is worried about her because she has a headache and feels like she might be getting a slight cold. I have had the flu for two weeks and have a 103 degree fever. I ask, "What about me?" Her response? "Stay away from your sister." FML

Exactly. OP is not the center of the universe and her mom probably just doesn't want her sister to get sick as well. I doubt OP has been denied any and all pampering in 2 weeks, especially when she's so willing to pipe up with, "WHAT ABOUT MEEEEEE!?!?!?"

Doing it in full view of yourt mother is also acceptable. MAke sure you "accidentally" do it when she's watching though.
Still have a 103 fever after two weeks? Might want to go to the doctor, you should be better or at least starting to after about a week.
Don't be the ass that rockstar wants you to be. And stay away from your sister. She doesn't need your flu. And stop thinking you're the center of every conversation.

Not really an FML, unless your mum hadn't cared at all while you've been sick. There's no reason why your mum can't be worried about your sister as well, and telling you to stay away from her while you're obviously sick and your sister seems like she's coming down with something is just common sense.

BTW, the flu only lasts a week with high temps. At least the Swine flu does (that's the only one that causes a fever for a full 7 days). Also, if you had a high fever like that for that long, you would not be alive without someone constantly hydrating you. That's one of the biggest reason people die, dehydration.

i really hate how people get the flu and a cold mixed up, if you had had would be more worried abt getting well rather than crying about mummy caring about your sis who, chances are is much younger than you and would suffer more from the cold, which i believe is what u have, a simple case of the sniffles which may or may not even be related to your high fever, quit whining and go see a Dr about the fever

I know exactly what you mean! When I was sick a few months ago, I dragged myself out of bed because my parents wanted to go to lunch and look at TVs (to buy one for a newly renovated basement). A ways into the afternoon, I got tired and wanted to just sit in the car and wait for them. I got yelled at for my poor "attitude" following that. My brother is sick now, and she's babying him. Not only that, she's been fucking yelling at me for not caring about him, because I wasn't sure if he could take Tylenol Cold after taking cough medicine. WHAT THE FUCK?!

Not an FML. Unless your mom has been ignoring you while you were sick, she's right to be concerned about your sister.
Why is everyone saying its swine flu? There's other kinds of flu out there (influenza, stomach flu).
And I think her Mom is an uncaring bitch. Yeah the WHAT ABOUT MEEEE was rather childish but she should have been concerned that her daughter had such a high fever, instead of worrying about a stupid cold. Colds aren't that big of a deal, especially if the kid is older. If she's a little kid, I know how colds hit them hard, so its more understandable. If she's a preteen and over, just give her some medicine and juice.
No matter what age her sister is, still, fevers that high are very dangerous, even fatal, so she should be paying attention.

What's so FML about that? You already got sick, she doesn't want your sister getting sick too. She was probably getting sick because she was taking care of you when you were sick. Did you thank her?

Hmmm... I don't mean any disrespect to your mother, but that wasn't a very considerate thing to say. I mean, ok, I get that she probs doesn't want your sister getting sick too, but if you've had a 103 fever for that long, she ought to have done something. My advice is to get yourself to a doctor, because you should have started recovering by now.
