Man or woman?

Today, I visited my grandma. She offered me some chips in ziploc bag. I thought they were sour cream and onion chips from the look. They tasted funny, but I didn't want to be rude and I kept eating. I looked closer after a while and noticed that what I thought were chives was actually mold. FML

Yes, we all know the "flaw" in the system, cept this is only meant for people to actually RESPOND to what someone is saying.

And no, ur not helping ur being a total asshole who thinks that no one else realized this. -_-

#9 - On 06/22/2009 at 10:21am by smiley_girl

Semi-similar thing happened to me but not so bad. I went to my aunts house and she offered me a soda I didn't want. I was sipping at it because I wasn't thirsty and then she asks what's wrong? Is it spoiled? Not knowing what she was talking about I checked the expiration date when she turned around. It was two years expired.

#10 - On 06/22/2009 at 10:22am by kapay

They say that Buddha died from eating spoiled meat the home of some Chinese peasants. He felt it would be rude and disrespectful not to eat what they had been kind enough to offer from their limited supplies.

If they make a statue of you, I am SO gonna rub your belly.

Haha, reminds me of this time I was watching some TV show and their conversation went like this:

Lady One: "Taste these!" *hands her food*
Lady Two: "Hmm, they taste fine to me..."
Lady One: "I know, I thought so too, I can't figure out why they're recalling them!"
Lady Two: "........thanks."

#22 - On 06/22/2009 at 11:01am by kmckay92

"Big elaborate *spoiled* dinner" Haha! Love it. :D

#43 - On 06/22/2009 at 1:47pm by aback

that sucks but i don't really see why it would be so rude to just say "no thanks" to some chips. it's not as if she cooked you a big, elaborate spoiled dinner or something. it's just chips!

#32 - On 06/22/2009 at 12:17pm by fretforyerlatte

#42 - On 06/22/2009 at 1:43pm by Junkson

is your grandma the kind that says "ahh, dont complain, mould is good for you you know!"

#48 - On 06/22/2009 at 4:56pm by Acechao5

yeah, that happened to me once. Except it was candy and my friend's mom didn't believe it was mold... just maybe frosting? But anyway, I was the only one to eat the whole thing. Everyone else figured out it was mold before they decided to throw it away.

#49 - On 06/22/2009 at 5:07pm by Gasperilla

I just gagged...Oh that sucks.

#50 - On 06/22/2009 at 5:31pm by 123life

yuckkkkk grosss :(

#51 - On 06/22/2009 at 6:27pm by crazieeli

You know, there's a certain point where being polite to old people causes problems... Yes, you must respect them, but sometimes they're just in the damn way. Oh yeah, people in California, remember that guy who drove through a farmer's market and kept going? AND had no remorse about it? Think about that.

So basically I'm saying, how is preventing horrible intestinal problems impolite?

#53 - On 06/22/2009 at 6:47pm by philosopher

What is it with old people keeping food around until way past it's expiry date? My grandmother does that too, always trying to cut the mold off of "perfectly good" expired cheese. Gross.

#54 - On 06/22/2009 at 6:53pm by derriduh

my grandmother gave me 3 year old junior mints from her purse one time and i broke a tooth trying to bite it. she was like "oops, i thought they were still good." and then i looked at the box.
FML.

#56 - On 06/22/2009 at 7:03pm by tapesculpture

ew. and btw its not rude if you done eat them ._. if you dont like it you shouldn't eat it.... especially if you find out it has mold....

#57 - On 06/22/2009 at 7:08pm by Sapphy

Haha your grandma is trying to kill you. And #2, i didnt get that :/

#58 - On 06/22/2009 at 7:22pm by meriadoc2

My aunt has a lot of expired food. That's why all our relatives always buy food over to her house.

#59 - On 06/22/2009 at 7:32pm by ironyofmylife

This happens to me all the time at my grandparents' house. I'll pour a glass of milk, take a drink, and realize I just drank cottage cheese instead. Trust me, I know how it feels.

On the bright side, you got your dose of penicillin. =]

#60 - On 06/22/2009 at 8:23pm by steph108

your grandma is a cunt

#75 - On 06/24/2009 at 7:59pm by ItsTheKanninbal

Reminds me of the time my aunt fed my mother and I cookies dusted with powdered sugar. They were foulest things I've ever put in my mouth and as it turns out the powdered sugar was fungus. So we took them outside where everyone else was picnicing and put them on the table. Then we walked away. Five minutes later there were all these screams coming from outside and my aunt had to rinse her tongue out under the faucet...brilliant...the woman was actually surprised cookies would go bad after A YEAR.

#76 - On 06/24/2009 at 8:42pm by interruptive_cow

I'm so glad my grandparents are better about this stuff than all of yours -_-

#78 - On 07/17/2009 at 6:30pm by rakhil11
