Welcome to the machine

Today, after not being on the schedule for a week, I checked to see what my next shift was, only to find my employee profile edited to 'disabled' and still no hours or word from any managers. This after weeks of showing up at the drop of a hat when needed for any position. FML

I once put in my two weeks at a retail job. Management asked me to reconsider several times, but then didn't give me any shifts my entire last week. Like, do they need us or not, right OP? lol

Managers like having people they can control. And the second their leverage against an employee is gone, they get petty. Hardly all managers but enough that people think it’s all managers

You've been gone for two weeks? It's pretty obvious that the workers at your company have been replaced by pod people. Since you weren't present during the assimilation phase they are unaware of your existence. Do not give yourself away.

why don't you just ask? it could be a mistake.

op's fiancee here....she is going into work today to find out what is up. she has sent texts to BOTH managers asking "what is going on" and they have not even had the courtesy to message her back. it is not like OP was incommunicado with her bosses for weeks.
