You were raised by an intelligent woman. Get up in front of everyone and point at your mum then say "you see! You see the environment I grew up in?! No wonder I used to be an alcoholic!!!!! Who agrees that I should get 10 gold medals for overcoming this?!!!" film it, and show it to your mother at her intervention that you throw in the next couple days

Be thankful, there is no better reminder of what could happen to you if you slipped up than seeing your own flesh and blood drunk. Grats to 10 years that is a lot of 24 hours in a row. :)
