Today, my girlfriend and I were at the movies. When the "love scene" came on, she leaned over and made out with the wrong man. FML

Oh boy! I hope it really was a legitimate mistake. How long before she realized it wasn't you?

Well hopefully he wasn't a good kisser and they don't hit it off

I really hope she didn't do this on purpose. But it is really strange that she made out with the wrong guy (I assume that she knew where you were sitting).

I Hope She Quickly Realized It Wasn't You. Lol FYL.

That would be terribly awkward if she did it deliberately

That's when you lean over and make out with the wrong woman OP.

Unless there are guys on both sides of them. Awkward

When did she realize it wasn't you?

What's really going to screw you up is years later when she reminisces about being impregnated in that same movie theatre on the same night, and you don't remember being intimate with her.

It's the effort that counts! :)

Of course, 45, I Always dump my partners because of simple mistakes. It's just expected.

I don't know how dark it gets in your cinemas, #47, but when I go to a movie I can see the faces of people five rows infront of me. So I doubt it was a 'simple mistake'. Aha

Plus, they went to the movie as a couple. They were likely sharing popcorn and maybe a soda, chatting, maybe holding hands then she forgets which side he's on? I don't buy it.

64 Makes some excellent points. After reading this whole mistake vs. on purpose debate and reading that comment, I'm not buying it either. I just wish OP would provide some more details.
