Today, I drove 4 hours to see my girlfriend of a year, as she had asked me to stay with her for a few days. When I arrived she told me she wanted to be friends as she liked someone else, but wanted me to stay the few days so we could work on being friends. FML

#174 you are a dumbass. you just assume things which is the worst possible thing to do especially when this guy has obviously had a shitty day. he probably asked her out (possibly multiple times) and she said "no" so he went for this other girl instead because he knew there wasnt any way she would go out with him and when she said he shouldnt date her anymore he thought she meant she wanted to date him
