Today, It took me more than 4 hours to set up the back yard for my daughters baby shower. It only took my husband one push of a button to turn on the sprinklers. FML

Today, my 4 year-old asked to go outside and play in the sprinkler. I told him not right now because I was busy and he's too little to play outside by himself. I came out of the laundry room later to find he'd brought the sprinkler in the house and turned the water on. At least he listened. FML

Today, my husband let me sleep in while he worked on the landscaping by our backyard pool. Ready for a shower, I stripped naked, opened the back door to let the dog out, and stepped out to ask him how it was going. Turns out he'd finally hired a landscaping crew. FML

Today, my husband, who rarely helps with big projects around the house, offered to help me with our mess of a backyard. An hour and a half into the project, and an hour and a half after he disappeared from the backyard, I found him mowing and edging the front. Our front yard was immaculate and didn't need mowed. FML

Today, I set up a motion-activated sprinkler to drench the neighborhood kids who have been ding dong ditching me for years. Because they couldn't get close enough to ring the doorbell, they decided to start egging me instead. FML

Today, I finally felt well enough to take an actual shower after having surgery on my back. It took five minutes to stand up, ten minutes to get to the shower, and another ten minutes to get in. The pilot light went out in less than five minutes. FML

This proves that men do not listen as the wife had to have told the husband that she was throwing a baby shower for their daughter but as #46 said he could have been at work all day and absent-mindedly forgot. So I'm going with that he forgot and accidently turned on the sprinklers, cause that just seems to be the logical explanation cause if a man is cruel enough to do that then, well, that's just really horrible of him. Even as a joke/prank that's not funny. Whether he forgot or it was a joke/prank, he'd feel and hear how effin' mad I am ;-)

Not all men are dumb - just us ones who got married. I wonder how many women drive with the oil pressure light on and end up replacing and engine at the cost of $3000 or more, but if they had the car towed the cost would have been in maybe a couple hundred dollars.

She has every right to be mad after doing all that work and then having it ruined. And she's not pathetic for writing an FML.
