Today, I was at work in a lab. I spent all day growing a large bacterial culture. I went to retrieve it, only to find that someone had turned the incubation shaker up too high, and my flask had flown off and shattered. Not only did I lose all my work, but now the whole room is a biohazard. FML

and thus resident evil 6 begins.

Oh wow, that really sucks. FYL. :/ This happened to my dad once, but it was for something else, and not with bacteria.

Since I'm a chemist I really know what you're talking about. It's a really nasty business and this kind of shit happens all the time. I'm thinking about posting FMLs every second day or so...

what kind of shakers does everyone here use? the ones in the lab that i worked in were so ******* tight you were lucky to get them out without breaking them, much less just have them fly out if you turned them up too much. but anyways, i feel your pain, some of those procedures are seriously ******* tedious.

...see this is how zombie movies' infections start out.
