Today, I took the motherboard out of my computer so I could put more RAM and a new video card in. While I was in the bathroom my mom threw it all out because it 'looked like garbage'. FML

Today, my mother took my brand new PS4, which I haven't even played yet, and threw it out the window while I was at work. When I asked her why, she said she was mad that we didn't have any paper towels left. FML

Today, my parents got me a new computer for my birthday. They also took the liberty of throwing out my old computer, with 8 years of photos, videos, music, documents, emails, and bookmarks on it. But that's okay, I had a backup. They threw that out too. FML

Today, my parents dropped by my new house, and my mother offered to tidy up for me while I was out. After they left, I noticed that her "tidying up" included throwing out all the pictures of my girlfriend and replacing them with pictures of herself. FML

Today, my 81-year-old mother threw out the packaging for a 3-day-old $1,700 monitor I was going to return due to a defect. I live in my own home, but she randomly visits to "clean up" without asking me. Now I'm stuck with an expensive, defective monitor. FML

computer parts are actually really robust and strong, when my ram start to get dodgy and freeze up my pc i put it above the stove element for 10 secs and melt all the solder and it fixes it, and on an old pc i had that was not booting i cleaned it out completly and even washed the motherboard in soapy water the dried it with a hair dryer and it went good as new, you can call me stupid if yopu want but it was old so i ddnt care if it broke

I truly pity you. I'm in my school's robotics club and our janitor has trashed practically everything on our bot at one point or another. He even threw out parts from our band saw.
