How have you been bi for 5 years? Kind of goes against the gay community argument that you are born that way.
It's apparent that OP is referencing the amount of time since they became aware of that aspect of their identity. They're already dealing with their family being dicks about their coming out, they don't really need someone picking at their word choices in a mocking manner.
